Plot Summary:
Contestants must compete against each other for a chance to win $500,000 in a house wired with cameras and microphones, capturing their every move for a TV and Internet audience.

Storyline:
Based on the Dutch series, thirteen strangers who are living in a studio-like house that's filled with cameras and microphones, compete in a series of physical and mental stunts, and some challenging trivia at a chance at $500,000 in this reality soap opera-like summer program. Thirteen of those house guests live in 13 different states. America will watch every single move they compete to be the last one standing, after having twelve house guests evicted. These strangers are the contestants who think they have absolutely nothing in common, and a few are in a shock for their lives. The house guests begin to introduce other people at the Big Brother house. It's the first time they will get to know each other and they're not allowed to say not one word with them until they are in the Big Brother house. The thirteen will be living in the same house for the following two months...

Big Brother is a mixture of Survivor and the Real World. Its about how a group of people called "Housemates" live in a "house" and are isolated from any sorts of technology for the summer to compete against each other to win the HOH(head of household) and the power of veto thru numerous of competitions. The house guest who wins HOH will have the right to nominate two houesguests to be evicted out from the house. With the power of veto, the holder of it could choose to use it on one of the evictees to save them from possible eviction. The same process occurs every week until one is left standing and 500,000 dollars richer. I started watching Big Brother around 3 years ago, and I have seen many improvements and twists added to the show. Like last year, when 12-14 house guests were playing secretly with their friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/best friend etc. Last years edition I consider one of the best, because of the "Cat with 9 lives" James who had won the power of veto a recorded 4 times. Also Kaysar and Jannele were terrific players, because Kaysar was a fan favorite and the "brains" of Big Brother 6. As Jannele was a combination of Kaysar and James. Another memorable Big Brother moment was Nakomis's 6 finger plan, also known as backdooring, where she finally got Jase evicted from the house. This show is really great to watch because its fun to watch how people will do anything for 500,000 dollars, which include lieing, backstabbing, back dooring, and the list goes on. If you want to watch Big Brother 7 All Stars tune in on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8 o clock on CBS on the West Coast. In conclusion Big Brother is an excellent show and I hope I will be a future contestant.

It's fun and extremely likable.
I really enjoyed this show for it's first season. I thought the characters were really likable, they were very funny, and some of the extremely exotic conditions rich people were coming down with (all on long island, who knew?) made the show fun and rewarding. The Dr (Hank) is great and the idea of saving someone at a rich recluse's house, then being given an amazing apartment, money, and the chance to rub elbows with the secretive elite plays on my fantasies terrifically. A lot of the rich characters fall into a typical neurotic mold but there are some like Boris the house owner that creates enough mystery to keep you watching for the next episode. The son with the distant father and crazy girlfriend is a great character. Evan the brother is Hilarious and has great chemistry with the main character. The Indian assistant Divya is really funny and I like the subplot of her dreams and her conflicts with traditional Indian cultural values. I thought the girlfriend character was OK but it didn't add much and the conflicts weren't very strong or justified. Overall a really fun show.

The Story :

Story:
Film Ready, directed by Anees Bazmee is a remake of a Telugu hit of the same name. The film stars Salman Khan and Asin in the lead roles. Ready belongs to the genre of commercial cinema, loved by the movie goers. However, there is a piece of suggestion, Ready is not a film for people who are looking for meaningful cinema. It is film which is full of masala, humour, love, peppy music and of course superstar Salman Khan.

Prem Kapoor (Salman Khan) lives with his father (Mahesh Manjrekar) and two uncles (Manoj Joshi, Manoj Pahwa). Sanjana Singh (Asin) is an orphan who comes to India to stay with her mamas (uncles) Sharat Saxena and Akhilendra Mishra who are greedy and want to takeover her property. Prem falls in love with Sanjana and decides to teach her mamas a lesson. The mamas plan to marry Sanjana to their respective brothers-in-law, so that they get her property. How Prem fools everybody and rescues Sanjana from the mess, is what follows in the story.

Plus Points:
The film comes as a fresh breath for the film goers after a long list of serious cinemas. There is not much to think about the plot as it is definitely behind times, but the peppiness that Salman adds to the love story by his power packed performance is totally paisa wasool and entertaining.

Ready brings back the dream world cinemas, where there is a hero and a heroine, they falling in love and that is the world for them. The dialogues are superb and delivered with the correct expression. You will enjoy the film if you want to get out of that meaningful cinema mode and watch something entertaining.
Bazmee successfully packs loads of entertainment in Ready that you hardly find any chance to get bored in the two hours of journey. Music is full-on feel good types. The action is good.

Loopholes:
The screenplay fails to grip the attention in the first hour of the film. There are a few scenes that make no sense. These above things could have been avoided if the writing was absolute. At places writing is old-fashioned and outdated.

Performance:
Salman Khan spreads his superstar acting in the film with his soulful performance. Asin is convincing inspite of her ill looks and not at ease at some places. Paresh Rawal is excellent and as usual compliments finely with Salman's comic timing. Sudesh Lehri was solid and exceptional. Akhilendra Mishra, Mahesh Manjrekar, Anooradha Patel and Sharat Saxena are good. Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Kangna, Zarine Khan, Chunky Pandey and Arbaaz Khan have done great cameos.

Over All:
Ready is strictly for masses and Salman makes films strictly for them. Looking for a masala flick? Ready is the best choice for the weekend to chill out and refresh your mind.

I’ll get this out of the way: “Never Back Down” was an incredibly punk-ass fight flick. I think I spent the majority of the film rolling my eyes and sighing audibly, which is always a good sign that I am not impressed. When I heard someone was crafting a sequel, I think I may have laughed a little, that is, until I learned that Michael Jai White would star and direct the flick. Needless to say, I’m definitely on-board now. The teaser trailer for “Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown” has finally arrived, and I must say, it’s pretty badass. Not only do you get to see White doing his thing, the feature also stars UFC Fighter Todd Duffee, MMA Fighter Scott Epstein, and UFC Champion Lyoto Machida. Wow!
