Aarakshan Synopsis:
Aarakshan movie is a high voltage drama based on one of the most controversial policies of caste based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions.
It is the story of Prabhakar Anand, an idealistic principal of a college who has single-handedly turned into the state’s best college. Deepak Kumar who can do anything for his Sir.
Deepak love for Prabhakar’s daughter, Poorbi (Deepika Padukone), of his friendship with Sushant (Prateik Babbar). It is the story of their love, their lively friendship, their zest for life, and of their dreams for the future.

Centered on one of the most controversial issues of recent years, with the Supreme Court’s order on reservations, the story suddenly becomes a rollercoaster ride of high drama, conflict, and rebellion, which tests their love and friendship for one another, and their loyalty to Prabhakar Anand. Saif Ali Khan portrays the role of an Dalit.

Movie Storyline:
Story of Aarakshan Movie revolves around a strict idealistic college principal played by Bachchan. Saif plays his student role who falls in love with principal's daughter played by Deepika. Prateik Babbar plays his friend's role. Story of Aarakshan Movie is Centered on recent controversial issue with Supreme Court order on reservations. The much-hyped film, Aarakshan is in trouble, as the Republican Party of India (RPI) has threatened to ban the film in Maharashtra, alleging that it is anti-dalit. RPI chief Ramdas Athavale said that his party will not allow the screening of the film in the state if the makers of the film do not change anti-dalit theme.

RPI alleged that the tries to divide Dalits and the others. The party's warning came after the National Commission of Scheduled Castes (NCSC) termed the film as anti-dalit and asked producer Prakash Jha to screen it to a panel before its release on August 12. The special screening has not taken place yet. Athavale said that his party would protest the screening of the film is it promotes anti-dalit message.
Aarakshan deals with reservations in the Indian education system. It features Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

Movie Plot Summary:
In spite of being born into abject poverty, Chhotu an inventive child with a cheerful disposition does not let his grim circumstances defeat him. In order to support his family, he works in a small road side food stall during the day; however spends his evenings voraciously reading books he has somehow managed to gather. He someday dreams of getting an education, and commanding his own destiny.
On a hot sultry day, Chhotu encounters the local prince. The pauper is captivated at the sight of the crisp tie that the prince sports. He is immediately drawn towards it. The prince eyes the camel the pauper has tamed, and is instantly mesmerized. Thus an unlikely friendship is struck between the two, which dares to defy the stringent class barriers of the village.
One day, upon hearing a speech from Dr. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, Chhotu vows to change his future. Just like him, the former President too suffered great hardships as a child, but through sheer determination, perseverance and hard work mapped his own course.
From that day forward, the enterprising lad drops the name Chhotu - a tag used to identity countless labouring boys across India, and adopts the alias 'Kalam'. Like the former President, Chhotu pledges to become a hero someday. He is aided in his mammoth quest by his loyal friend Prince Ranvijay.

Movie Plot Summary:
1939 - A world plagued with unrest and upheaval. Adolf Hitler's ruthless ambition for German expansion in Eastern Europe is becoming increasingly violent and inhuman. Whereas another nation, India, struggles in its fight for freedom against the British as the idealistic Mahatama Gandhi continues to appeal to his countrymen to adopt a stand of non-violence. A stark contrast in ideologies even with an eventual common opponent, Gandhi one day decides to pen a letter to the German dictator... a letter he hoped would persuade Hitler to change his path and avoid the Second World War, avoid the massive calamity that it would bring on.

Gandhi then wrote a second letter to Hitler, this time closer to Hitler's own downfall, at a time when Hitler was plagued with betrayal all around him while confined to an underground bunker. We witness a contrast in the ideologies of these two leaders and the eminent result of Hitler's brutal and catastrophic methods.
Gandhi to Hitler looks at Hitler's downfall, his last days when only his love Eva Braun and his trusted aide Joseph Goebbels stood by him, as Germany crumbled around him and his trusted comrades deserted him; and through the central young couple Balbir and Amrita we see that the fate of many was determined by the ideology that they chose to adopt.
The film establishes the superiority of Gandhism over Nazism, thereby giving the message of world peace, a message still relevant in today's context where the world continues to grapple with the dark clouds of terrorism.
