London, July 30 : Amy Winehouse's former husband Blake Fielder-Civil's mother has spoken up for the first time after the singer's death, defying suggestions that her son is solely responsible for her demise.
Winehouse's fans and family have suggested that it was her chaotic five-year relationship with Blake that sent the singer off the rails and ultimately led to her tragic death.

But for Georgette, 48, a respectable middle-class mother from a Nottinghamshire village, it is a sentiment that fills her with sorrow, and one that she believes masks a more unpalatable truth.

"I am not asking anyone to say `poor Blake' - he made his choices and he has to live with them," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

"I'm not trying to defend his behaviour and I know him for what he is: he's an addict and he has done some terrible things.

"He feels enormous grief and responsibility for some of the things that have happened, as well he should.

"But I also think he's been made the fall guy for what happened to Amy, when the truth is, in fact, far more complicated.

"We all played our part in what happened to her. I have had to look deep into my heart and wonder if I could have helped, done things differently," she added. (ANI)

London, July 29 : Several Playboy playmates have defended Hugh Hefner over his ex-fiancee Crystal Harris' allegations that he is poor in bed, claiming that the 85-year-old actually is `a lot of fun'.

Harris recently questioned Hefner's masculinity saying that they had sex just once and it lasted only for two seconds. But now the Playboy founder's darling girls have dismissed her allegations.

"I've heard girls say they have a lot of fun in there," the Daily Mail quoted Hiromi Oshima, Playboy's Miss June 2004, as telling People's magazine about life in the Playboy mansion.

Meanwhile, Playboy model Dani Mathers also rubbished reports that Hefner `lasted two seconds' in bed and only had sex with Harris once.

"Hef is a lover," Mathers told the website.

"I think they definitely had sex more than that one time and it wasn't two minutes. Hef definitely has a sex life," she added.

Another Playmate Shanna McLaughlin, who appeared in the magazine in July 2010, also came out in defence calling him `an amazing man'.

"I think the whole thing with Crystal is really sad, and Hef is such an amazing man," she said.

"He provides so much for everyone that's around him and all of the Playmates.

"I think some things should be kept private between two people, especially in a break-up scenario," she added. (ANI)

London, July 29 : Amy Winehouse is said to have recorded songs for the new `Bond' film with Mark Ronson before her tragic death.
The star had secretly penned and recorded three tracks she hoped would make it on to the soundtrack for the new 007 film.

"What a way to remember Amy. We want her to be known for her talent and not her addiction," the Daily Star quoted one of her pals as saying.
"To have one of her songs used in the next film would be the perfect memorial to her," the pal stated.
Winehouse, who died last Saturday, recorded a song called `Mission Of Solace' in 2008 with producer pal Ronson.
They had hoped it would be the title track for Daniel Craig's outing as 007 in `A Quantum Of Solace'. However, plans were scrapped because of her drug-fuelled binges.
In the past 12 months she wrote another three songs called `The Walther Project', `Revenge Alone' and `You're The Man,' and recorded in Ronson's studio in Henley-on-Thames, Oxon.

"They were really a work in progress but she'd laid down the vocals and had guitar and drums as an outline. It wouldn't take much to tighten it up into a finished product," the pal added.

Winehouse's spokesman Chris Goodman says there is "plenty" of material but there have been no discussions yet about releasing anything. (ANI)

Crystal Harris was recently talking to Howard Stern on Sirius XM Radio Show when she got candid about her sex life with Playboy founder. Hef's ex-fiancee said that she and the Playboy founder only had sex once which lasted 'like about two seconds'. She added, "He doesn't really take off his clothes. I've never seen Hef naked."

However, the Playboy model also spoke about her sex life with Hef in an interview with Access Hollywood Live. Crystal said that she was getting physical with Hef in the beginning, but after a while it just was not the most important thing to him. She added that their intimacy was limited to couch cuddling and movie nights.

The first teaser trailer of the upcoming movie Battleship, which features Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard and Rihanna, has landed online via Yahoo! Movies. The preview video hints on love twist, huge spaceshift and potential big war in this action sci-fi movie.

Battleship is about a fleet of ships, which is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals. The battleship is set to use all the weapons it has to fight the spaceship, but the real war will unfold across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force.

Taylor Kitsch is playing Lt. Alex Hopper, while Alexander Skarsgard appears as his brother Stone Hopper. Liam Neeson and Rihanna are reprising the roles of Admiral Shane and Raikes. In the trailer, the ship's crew notice mysterious thing floating on the sea, they send a small group to come closer and investigate it, which soon attacks the battleship and unveils its true, huge form.

However, the movie Battleship is based on the Hasbro board game Battleship. The film is directed by Peter Berg. Universal Pictures is distributing the movie, which is slated to release on May 18, 2012.

I saw Dirty Girl at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2010 and it was amazing!!!
I thought it had a good blend of drama and comedy therefore when things got heavy or sad I didn't get depressed or too down because a few scenes later I would be laughing.
I thought it was the best portrayal of the beauty of a relationship between a gay man and a straight woman since Will & Grace. It also had a great soundtrack. I can't wait to have a movie night at my house with this movie. It was just a fun movie with depth. No academy award worthy performances in my opinion but the acting is definitely good but no mind blowing performances.

Olivia Wilde may be circling a biopic of porn star Linda Lovelace
Cowboys & Aliens star Olivia Wilde is considering the biopic Lovelace, where she would portray the infamous 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace.

The actress has not officially signed on yet, although it seems she is definitely interested in the biopic. Here's what she had to say below.

"It would be a tremendous honor. It's such a cool role. She was a fascinating woman -with where she came from to Deep Throat to then working with Gloria Steinem and Nora Ephron. It's really fascinating. I'm being very careful about my next project since I'm now in a position where I can be really picky-thank God, finally."

Howl directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are directing from a screenplay by Merritt Johnson, which is based on Eric Danville's book, The Complete Linda Lovelace. We reported back in January that James Franco is circling the role of Chuck Traynor, Linda Lovelace's husband, with Kate Hudson eyeing the title role. It isn't known if James Franco or Kate Hudson are still involved.

Lovelace is not to be confused with Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, another biopic which Malin Akerman is attached to star in. It isn't clear when production will start on either project quite yet.

Lovelace is in development . The film is directed by Rob Epstein, Jeffrey Friedman.

The Best Film That You Probably Won't See This Summer

Wow! I really got lucky with this one! A Jean Claude Van Damme film released in theaters for the first time in the United States since 1998 if memory serves right! A very limited release mind you, but he's finally made it back to the big screen! It hasn't been advertised here at all which is a shame because Assassination Games is an excellent film! So where do I begin? Well, the film was shot for $4,000,000 dollars in some Eastern Block country which would normally scare me, but it actually ends up looking a lot better than the above stated price tag. Say around the 15 to 20,000,000 dollar range. The camera and editing work was very well done and the musical score is excellent, non pervasive and flows with the movie in a non intrusive way that adds to the dramatic effect instead of taking away from it. The story is pretty well done. I'd give the dialog a solid B for an action movie and there were no detectable plot holes that I could find.

The best actor in the film in my opinion was probably Andrew French who plays Nalbandian who plays Devil's Advocate to Van Damme fallowed by Maria Kaijan, Jean Claude, Scott Adkins and Ivan Kaye. In fact, the acting was pretty much all the way around solid except for the interpol agents who's dialog and delivery was extremely weak.

The film goes about 50/ 50 on the action to drama ratio. It drags a bit after the first 5 minutes or so but the fight scenes are interspersed throughout the film well and are also followable which is more than I could say for some larger budget films like the Transformers franchise and I would definitely have to say that Jean and Scott make an excellent action duo as they have the whole fire and ice thing going.

If you happen to be within an hours drive of any of the theaters listed on the movie website, go and check the film out. It isn't as good as JCVD or the new Universal Soldier, but it's a very close third. So go check it out or just wait for the DVD. It'll be worth it! Thank you Jean Claude! I never thought I'd see you on the big screen again!
