(Sorry, ladies.)But just because Bass is taken off screen doesn't mean fans won't be riveted by the developments between his character, Sam, and Andy on screen.
tvfanatic: "The audience doesn't get what they're expecting," he teased about what's on tap for the pair of cops. "But they will be will happy with what they get. How's that for being seductively cryptic?"It's perfect, really. Who wants to know exactly what will happen before it happens?Bass added that the introduction of Jo Rosati (Camille Sullivan) will further complicate things for Sam... and Andy... and Luke. This detective is the latter's ex.She and Luke have a past," Bass said. "She comes in to help with a crime, but she sticks around... for reasons of her own. Series Summary:
Heidi Klum hosts a reality series where aspiring fashion designers compete for a chance to break into the industry. Each week, a designer is eliminated from the competition after exhibiting their work in front of a judges' panel. The anticipation is over for the season premiere of Project Runway. With 20 designers immediately off to a crazy start and the whole of the Caribbean glued to see one of our own, Anya Ayoung Chee in action. Before the show even premiered, it was evident that Anya was the only contestant on the show getting ALL THE BUZZ! I think this might actually be a first in the show’s history! But seriously though, wah de ass make Tim Gunn so baffled and horrified, when he found out that Anya sewed her own clothes? These Americans don’t know that people from the Caribbean can do anything ah wah? We have the fastest man in the world and a woman on Project Runway that learn to sew in 4 months! Seriously, it is not that hard to learn how to professionally sew in 4 months, especially if you have been in the business for years. By the way, Anya is not only a fashion designer but a graduate of the famous Parsons School of Design.Right off the bat, the judges eliminated four of the 20 designers

.The first challenge was quite entertaining. Thank God no one slept in the nude because they had to use their sleep clothes and a sheet from their bed to create the first design for season 9.I know some people that cannot sew to save their lives, but somehow I believe it’s way easier to sew a skirt than a pants. So when Anya decided to sew a pants from her bed sheet, in my head she instantly got points. It wasn’t the best pants I’ve ever seen, but it was good for a first time, especially since she’s never sewn silk before! Her top from her “kimono nightie” was a winner. I would wear it!David Chum, 29 from Boston, MA. He was inspired by cocoons, but was sent back to waiting tables.
- Gunnar Deatherage, 21 from Louisville, KY. The judges weren't impressed with his Derby gala creations.
- Amanda Perna, 26 from NYC, who I simply nicknamed "romper girl."
- Serena Da Conceicao, 31 from Brooklyn, Download Free NY. Serena postponed her wedding to be on the show. Ouch. That's got to hurt.As for the top 16?At 5 a.m., Tim Gunn barged into their bedrooms to inform our sleepy designers that they needed to get up and follow him, as is. No changing clothes, fixing hair or putting on makeup. I don't think they even used the bathroom. The next thing we know, our designers were grabbing a sheet and tromping through Times Square in their PJs. Ah, the adventure begins. There first challenge was to design an outfit using only their sheet and what they wore to bed last night. Uh-oh. For some this was quite a challenge.I honestly expected Anya to be the first to go. She only learned how to sew four months ago. Heidi had faith in her, but I was with Tim. It sounded like a recipe for disaster.Add to that how she's never dyed cloth before, never sewn silk, and never made pants, all of which she decided to attempt with this challenge. So I was thinking this girl was a goner.Wow. I couldn't have been more wrong. Her pants were perfect. "Let's just focus on the butt," Heidi exclaimed. Yup. Looked darn good. Who is this girl? She must be some kind of sewing phenom. Tim and I were definitely wrong about this former Miss Universe contestant.

Louie Season 2, Episode 8 Come On, God Previews

Louie Season 2, Episode 8 Come On, God
10:00 PM FX
Air date: 11th August 2011
Genre: Comedy, Family
Creator: Louis C.K.
Stars: Louis C.K., Hadley Delany and Ursula Parker
Country: USA
Language: English
Release Date: June 2010 (USA)
Filming Locations: New York City, New York, USA

Series Summary:
Wisely, C.K. doesn't meddle with the formula, and he sticks to what works. If anything, this season is even darker and more surreal, especially when it comes to how C.K. deals with his kids and the pressures of being a parent. It's still consistently funny while also often being bleak and surprisingly profound. If you aren't watching this show, you should really start. The second season of the series about a comedian raising his two daughters begins with a visit from Louie's sisters.Since I'm stepping back from weekly Watches on the blog, I don't expect to be writing about Louie every week, though I'll certainly be watching. But because I visited the set for the shooting of "Pregnant," because it gives some suggestions as to the direction of the second season, and Louis CK talked to me a bit about the writing and motivation of it, here's one writeup, and then I'd love to hear what you all thought.

First, structurally, the episode told one story beginning to end (with pauses for standup, including Louis CK's gut-busting riff on the albatross that is a five-year-old child). This isn't a complete departure from last season (see "God," e.g.), and at least one upcoming episode is divided into two segments as many were last season. But the star does seem to be interested in Download Free telling more stories that play out at greater length, as opposed to the many episodes last year that included a shorter story, a long story, some standup, and maybe a vignette or two like the ones with Louie at his therapist's.
Thematically, the episode shows the character Louie growing as a single father, though still struggling with it—not just the demands of responsibility, but the challenge of his own personality. (Which, for instance, has kept him from getting to know his neighbors, not just a nice thing but a useful thing to do as a solo dad with two young girls.) Louie is neither comically inept nor suddenly unflappable: the painfully funny "I love mom more" / flipping the bird scene is followed by the deft montage of him cooking dinner, then by his earnest failure to teach his youngest daughter a lesson about envy and finally his freaking out over, and eventually grappling with, his sister's gas-based "emergency."You might have noticed a disclaimer at the end that stresses that these are fictional characters, resemblances to actual persons are unintentional, &c. &c. This is obviously a concern to someone who is writing a scathingly observed comedy about a divorced guy with the same name as himself, and Louis CK elaborated on that in a followup interview after the longer one I published here.

Language: English
Release Date: 23 June 2011 (USA)

Series Summary:
On the run from a drug deal gone bad, Mike Ross, a brilliant college-dropout, finds himself a job working with Harvey Specter, one of New York City's best lawyers. In the premiere of this legal drama, successful lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) hires brilliant college dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) as a new associate at a top law firm despite the fact that Mike doesn't have a degree. In order to work together, both parties have to keep up the ruse to convince their coworkers that Mike is a real lawyer. Both Harvey and Trevor contended with some pretty high stakes as the former became a senior partner, a privilege which seemed to quickly go to his head.TV Fanatic: In order to protect a relationship with a large motor company, he pulled a Jack Bauer and went rogue behind Jessica’s back to install a CEO that would double the firms billable hours and save American jobs. Not only did Harvey do his part to help our ailing economy, he managed to do so by appealing to a wealthy car enthusiast... though not before staving off both Louis Litt and Jessica Hardman.Fortunately for Harvey, he managed to accomplish this feat without getting benched. See, the man has learned a lot since the pilot.I loved the backdrop Download Free of the car showcase. The Tesla looked like a vehicle I'd want in my garage, if they could hack a couple hundred thousand dollars off the price tag, that is.One of my favorite moments was the reappearance of Mike's grandma. She has quite the personality, which had her readily dismissing Trevor. Let's hope she's featured more down the line. It will certainly help us learn more about Mike's life growing up.
Which brings me to the sudden re-emergence of Jenny and Trevor, both of whom are stark reminders of where Mike came from. What's interesting is that they emerged in the middle of an episode where Mike's relationships with Harvey and Rachel seemed to make genuine strides. No relationship is stronger than when one makes a journey down the rabbit hole and their partner jumps in after them, ready to pull them out with their best legal strategy. That's exactly what Mike tried to do for Harvey here. Then, there was Rachel's assistance and advice on Mike's "Rookie Dinner" location. She claims to always be busy, yet seems to make time for Mike when he needs her. Moreover, we learned a little more about her hobbies, particularly her penchant for food with rich parents, along with her ambitions to live on her earnings alone.I wanted the writers to wait a little bit before they started playing with the idea of putting Mike in a relationship. I'm more than satisfied with the writing and the arcs already in play. I think we need these characters to continue developing absent any romance.

Burn Notice Season 5, Episode 8 Hard Out Previews

Burn Notice Season 5, Episode 8 Hard Out
10:00 PM USA
Air date: 11th August 2011
Release Date: 28 June 2007 (USA)
Genre: Comedy, Crime, Drama, Mystery, Thriller
Creator: Matt Nix
Stars: Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar and Bruce Campbell
Country: USA
Language: English
Also Known As: Último aviso
Filming Locations: Miami, Florida, USA

Series Summary:
Michael Westen, a seasoned US spy, is suddenly 'burned', i.e. discredited, without any form of procedure. He survives by doing impossible jobs for desperate people in Miami, where his mother lives. Michael is usually aided by trusted former FBI informer Sam and his ex girlfriend Fiona. Written by KGF Vissers
These problems become very evident in "Company Man," one of the weakest season premieres of the show to date. Following the seemingly huge shift at the end of the fourth season, Burn Notice had the chance to switch things up for once, which may or may not have been a good choice. Still, the alternative, what the writers choose, is lacking--a several minute long montage of how Michael and the CIA took down a bunch of people until only one called Kessler remains. Convenient, isn't it?Well, rest of the episode is a listless procedure through the normal steps leading up the Michael finally cornering Kessler and seeing that he shot himself. There are good moments in there--Michael's Russian character and the Venezuela, some of Fi and Sam--but the plot is lacking, even in comparison to average midseason episodes. There isn't an identifiable villain (when the writers are great at creating them) and none of the spy stuff is particularly inventive. At the end of the episode, it's unclear where the show is going. Michael is back in Miami with his friends and family, but he also has his CIA buddies. There will again be the struggle between the spy life and personal life, and it seems like Michael might be leaning on the personal side,

uncovering his car after a discussion of his mother.I appreciated how the episode dropped us in six months after Michael was taken to the CIA headquarters in DC last year. The opening montage gave us some glimpses of where he's been, what he's been doing, and how much bigger the game has gotten for our favorite spy.We were quickly introduced to Senior Field Officer Max (played by the always hunky Grant Show) and then Raines. Raines is the man who originally recruited Michael and the person who welcomed him back to the CIA to wrap up season four. While I like Max, (because he reminds me of Michael), I couldnít get a feel for Raines. At first he was kind of a jack-ass, and then Download Free he was kind of cool; finally he was somewhere in the middle. It's going to take a few more episodes before I decide on him.Conversely, while we got some good time with Fiona, Sam and Madeline, Jesse seemed to only be in the episode to show he is a series regular now and to set up some foreshadowing when he went on about how he quit the government and is now working as high-end security guy in Miami.
Blah. Whatever. Call me when he does something exciting.

His companions include the delivery ship's captain, Leela, a beautiful one-eyed female alien who kicks some serious butt, and Bender, a robot with very human flaws. Written by RonosPhilip J. Fry is a 25 year old delivery boy living in New York City who is cryogenically frozen on New Year's 1999 for 1000 years, where he wakes up in New New York City on December 31, 2999. There, he meets Turanga Leela, a tough but loving, beautiful one-eyed alien; and Bender, an alcohol-powered bending robot who is addicted to liquor, cigars, stealing, amongst other things. Fry, Leela, Bender, and sometimes Amy and Dr. Zoidberg travel around the universe risking life and limb delivering packages and performing charitable tasks for tax deductions. Download Free Written by Pennypacker The bottom line is this: Futurama is back. That fact alone almost qualifies Season 6 for a rating of 10. Resurrecting a series from the depths of cancellation is not easy or common, so let us thank the rerun rating gods (and I imagine DVD sales) for convincing Comedy Central to bring back new episodes of this utterly fantastic animated series. Of course, bringing the series back to simply be

abysmal and ruin its cult stature would have nullified all the joy of Futurama's return. Though there were some shaky moments early on, the new episodes of Futurama ultimately reminded us why we wanted the series back so badly in the first place. Basically picking up where Into the Wild Green Yonder left off, the series returned with a great, self-referential opening sequence. Strong though this scene was, the remainder of "Rebirth" felt like middle-of-the-road material, with recycled jokes and storylines. A number of the first episodes from this season, though successful overall, lacked a certain sense of freshness. Storylines alluding to gay marriage controversies ("Proposition Infinity") and jokes built around atrocious Susan Boyle puns ("Attack of the Killer App") gave you the sense that the series was playing catch up. Instead of truly picking up where their last stories left off, these episodes felt like they were taken from scripts pieced together with jokes written during the time the series was off the air.

Degrassi: The Next Generation (renamed Degrassi from the tenth season)[1] is a Canadian teen drama television series set in the Degrassi universe, which was created by Linda Schuyler and Kit Hood in 1979. Degrassi is the fourth fictional series in the Degrassi franchise, and follows The Kids of Degrassi Street, Degrassi Junior High, and Degrassi High. Like its predecessors, Degrassi: The Next Generation follows a group of students at Degrassi Community School who face various challenges like poor self image, peer pressure, child abuse, sexual identity, gang violence, self-injury, teenage pregnancy, drug abuse and death. The series was created by Linda Schuyler and Yan Moore, and is produced by Epitome Pictures in association with CTV. The current executive producers are Schuyler, her husband Stephen Stohn and Brendon Yorke. The series is filmed at Epitome's studios in Toronto, Ontario, rather than on the real De Grassi Street from which the franchise takes its name.A critical success, Degrassi: The Next Generation has often received favourable reviews from Entertainment Weekly,  Download Free The New York Times, and AfterElton.com. In its initial years, it was frequently the most watched domestic drama series in Canada, and one of the highest-rated shows on TeenNick in the United States. In 2004, for example, one episode received just under a million viewers in Canada, and over half a million viewers in the US. In recent seasons, however, viewing figures have begun to drop. The series has won numerous awards, from the Geminis, Writers Guild of Canada and Directors Guild of Canada, and internationally from the Teen Choice Awards, Young Artist Awards, and Prix Jeunesse. Filmmakers/actors Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes are fans of the show, and have guest starred in seven episodes. The series premiered on CTV on 14 October 2001. In 2010, during the ninth season, the series moved to CTV's youth-oriented sister channel, MuchMusic, and the tenth season marked a change in production style which saw the series become more like a soap opera. The first half of season 11 is airing 29 episodes in seven weeks, and began on 18 July 2011. 243 episodes have aired as of 2 August 2011, and a twelfth season has been ordered by MuchMusic.[2] The series has been syndicated on cable television, and episodes are available on DVD and in new media download formats from Puretracks, the iTunes Store, and the Xbox Live Marketplace. Internationally, Degrassi: The Next Generation has been highly successful in the US, and it is broadcast in 140 countries.
