Drama Serial summary:
Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is an Indian Television drama series that premiered on 15th August 2011 on Sony TV, based on the story of two unmarried strangers who are in their mid 30s. The show explores the worlds of two different personalities – Priya Sharma and Ram Kapoor, who discover love accidentally after they come together through the institution of marriage. The series is produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms and starrs known television actors Saakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor in the main lead.
Bade Acche Laggte Hain is the story of two strangers getting married … and falling in love. Priya is a happy go lucky woman in her early 30s, not married so far and quite sure that she wouldn’t be able to get married ever. She takes tuitions for college students and is happy with the world.
Ram Kapoor, a wealthy man in his early 40s, is a ruthless entrepreneur who also believes that he has missed the bus of marriage. Actress Nadia Moidu, who re-entered Malayalam film industry with Mammootty's Doubles, has now signed her next movie in Mollywood. The vibrant actress is reportedly playing a police officer in director Joshy's upcoming movie Sevens, which is being produced by Santhosh Pavithran and Sanjay Sebastian.
The story of Sevens is based on foot ball match and Iqbal Kuttipuram has written the screenplay for it. The movie has seven heroes like Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Nivin Pauli, Mithun, Rajit Menon, Fahad Fazil and Kuttu in the male leads. Nadia Moidu is reprising the role of a Police Commissioner.
Sevens has few other female leads and the movie bosses are said to be still looking for suitable actresses for the other roles. The movie, which announced its shooting in April, is currently being shot in Kozhikode. Ajayan Vincent is handling cinematography, while Bijipal will compose music for it.
Nadia Moidu had left the Malayalam films and was busy working in Tamil film industry for several years. The actress made her comeback to Mallu cinema with Doubles, which was recently released in Kerala. The movie has got her mixed responses from the audience for her performance.

Onam is considered as the biggest festival season of Kerala. So all Malayalam superstars are gearing up to treat their fans on this occasion. Actors like Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Mohanlal, Dileep, Prithviraj, Jayaram and Tamil star Vijay are set to release their movies. Movie buffs in the state will have six films to enjoy this season.
Megastar Mammootty and Suresh Gopi recently kick started the shooting of The King and the Commissioner and they will offer the movie as their Onam treat. The Shaji Kailas-directed film will hit the screens on 30th August. Another big star Mohanlal is said to be releasing his film Pranayam, which stars Jayapradha and Anupam Kher, on 26th August.
Dileep is said to be releasing his next flick Mr Marumakan as his Onam offering. The movie features Sanusha as his love interest. Prithviraj is said to be gearing up to treat his fans this Onam with his film Thejabhai and Family. Jayaram is also making efforts to release Ulakam Chuttum Vaaliban for the season.
Meanwhile, Tamil actor Vijay has planned to release his movie Velayudham this Onam and it will be screened in 90 centres. However, this Onam season is going to be a big fight among the superstars at Kerala Box Office as all their movies are much-hyped films. Now, it should be seen who would finally be the winners?

The first confrontation occurs when Larry is unable to make his way into a grocery store freezer for ice cream because a woman stands consoling another woman who is weeping. They ask politely for him to wait a second before they move out of his way, but that doesn't change the fact that the rest of the aile is empty,

It seems that now a days, everyone can be on television. These people should not have their own television show. Its sad that this is what we call entertainment. I feel bad for the two young girls in this family. They are not being taught any values or self-respect. Its really sad that they have a sister who poses for Playboy after the sex tape incident. Whether they like it or not, the 3 older sisters are role models to these young girls. Why does the mother allow all these things to happen when there are children present? The father, it seems, tries to do the right thing, but nobody listens. These people are not celebrities. They are a family who should not have a television show.

It seems like a majority of "True Blood" fans were satisfied last weekend when Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and the amnesic Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) finally consummated their relationship under the moonlight, thanks to an act of mercy by Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). In other developments, the witch Marnie (Fiona Shaw) allowed the spirit of Antonia (Paola Turbay) to enter her body and make her into an even more powerful threat to the vampires. Contrary to expectations, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) did not turn into a were-panther on the full moon, and he was comforted by Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), the vampire lover of his best friend, Hoyt (Jim Parrack). Mumbai, Aug 14: Shammi Kapoor, the flamboyant showman of Hindi cinema is no more. He died at 5:15am on Aug 14. He was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital and was aged 79. He was suffering from chronic renal failure and succumbed to related illness. He was on ventilator support since he was admitted to hospital a week back.

A person who can be easily termed a veteran, his fame shot to dizzying heights in the 1950's and early 1960's. He immortalized many Mohammed Rafi hits and set India swinging with his classic portrayal of filmy romance. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award in 2009.

He made his debut in Bollywood movies in 1953 with the film Jeevan Jyoti, and acted in massive hits like Junglee, Dil Tera Diwana, Professor, China Town, Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Dil Deke Dekho, Rajkumar, Kashmir Ki Kali, Janwar, Teesri Manzil, An Evening in Paris, Bramhachari, and Andaz and Vidhaata.

One of the early comments that came out via twitter expressing sorrow on Shammi Kapoor's death was Amitabh Bachchan and he tweeted, "Shammi Kapoor ji passed away this morning at 5:15 am .. Rushing there now .. the flamboyance and joi de verve of the Industry lost !"

Shammi Kapoor was born as Shamsherraj Kapoor on Oct 21, 1931. He married actress Geeta Bali, but the matrimony was short-lived when she died on small pox in 1965. He is survived by two children Aditya Raj Kapoor and Kanchan. He later remarried Neela Devi Gohil.

Mumbai, Aug 14: Commenting on the death of veteran Bollywood actor Shammi Kapoor, Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Sunday, Aug 14 said that Indian film industry has lost an "iconic figure."

"With his death, the industry has lost an iconic figure," Chavan said.

Union Minister for Science and Technology Vilasrao Deshmukh said that Shammi was a "superstar" in their era and his loss is a big loss to the film fraternity. Read

"Shammi Kapoor was a superstar of our era. His dance style was a rage in our times. He was a fatherly figure for film industry. This is a big loss to the film fraternity," Vilasrao Deshmukh said.

Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said on Sunday that it was a "sad day" for Bollywood.

Filmmaker Prakash Jha has moved the Supreme Court following the ban imposed on the release of his film, Aarakshan in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The filmmaker has sought the direction of the apex court to lift the ban imposed by these states. His plea will be heard on Tuesday, August 16.

“One is always hopeful, we were taking a chance. We tried our best, court also co-operated with us, court ran out of time. It is on the general list on Tuesday. Film has successfully run throughout the country except for the three states. No case of untoward incident anywhere. Whatever will happen, will happen. Every territory is important. It is more important that people are able to enjoy it. Supreme Court should allow the film to be released in all states,” Jha told PTI.

Following the decision of the Uttar Pradesh governments to ban the release of Aarakshan, objecting certain controversial scenes and dialogues in the film, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh have followed suit. The UP government has banned the film for two months citing law and order problem. The Andhra Pradesh government too decided to ban its release till the Committee constituted for the purpose comes up with its report.

Aarakshan, which deals with reservation in education, has invited the wrath of some Dalit organisations and political parties though the Censor Board has cleared it for screening. The film featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, has hit the theatres yesterday (August 12) except in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.

Pankaj Kapur's much-hyped film, Mausam starring his son Shahid Kapoor along with Sonam Kapoor, has landed up in legal trouble. Pankaj's friend Nawman Malik has filed a complaint with the Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers that he had registered the title Mausam under his name. He also claimed that the story of the film is his.

Malik has alleged that he narrated a story to Pankaj a few years ago. He claimed that the filmmaker showed interest in his story and expressed his desire to make the film with his son Shahid. He went on to claim that Pankaj told him they would discuss the project once Shahid returned to India but announced the project without his knowledge.

Mallik has filed a complaint with the Mumbai High Court against producer Sheetal Talwar and director Pankaj Kapur for using the title Mausam and has demanded a compensation of Rs. 1 crore for it.
