Take the Money and Run is a reality game show on the American Broadcasting Company that premiered on August 2, 2011, as part of the ABC network 2011–12 primetime schedule. The series is unscripted and involves contestants trying to hide money from professional detectives and other investigators. The show takes place in various locales around the United States. The participants, real life people, will try to win a $100,000 prize.
The contestants are given a car and cell phone and one hour to hide a case representing $100,000. The detectives are given the route that the contestants took in the car, and a record of who they called. At the end of the hour, the contestants are taken into custody and questioned in an attempt to locate the case. If the detectives can locate the case within 48 hours, they are awarded the $100,000. If not, the contestants win the prize.
ABC has released two video segments promoting the show.
The producers are Profiles Television and Jerry Bruckheimer Television. Horizon Alternative Television is the distributor in the United States. The executive producers are Jerry Bruckheimer, Bertram van Munster, Jonathan Littman, Elise Doganieri and Philip Morrow. KristieAnne Reed and Mark Dziak are co-executive producers. The show was written by Philip Morrow, Kieran Doherty, and Matthew Worthy of Wild Rover Productions.
The recurring cast includes the interrogators: Paul Bishop and Mary Hanlon Stone. Bishop is a writer and LAPD detective. He has published many books and written many episodes for television.[6] He is currently the supervisor of a sex crimes unit. Stone is a deputy district attorney with the office of the Los Angeles County District Attorney.[

First, let me state I am checking the spoiler box because I am not quite sure what spoiler means........since I am writing a negative about the show, I assume that means I am a spoiler.
I feel it would be impossible for an intelligent person not to win the money all the time. I would absolutely take the challenge and guarantee that not only could I not lose, but would make a contribution to any charity of the shows choice if I did lose (which would not happen). They can even take 3 days instead of 2 to find the money.......and I live in a small city of about 20,000 - let's make real easy for the police. I find it totally impossible to believe that any investigators without including harsh treatment or threats of violence could get any facts from me that would enable them to find the money. I find it ludicrous to believe this show is on the up and up.

The series is an American late-night talk show, which began on November 8, 2010, and airs four nights a week. The show is filmed on Stage 15 at Warner Bros.' studio in Burbank, California. this show is everything but creative. that alone is not enough to call it bad, but when it also lacks realistic or at least believable tension and interesting main characters you can call it bad in my opinion.
the main character has all character treats of a saint - and i mean that in a bad way: she is the caring mother, the heartbroken widow, the funny and loyal friend, the tough but also caring (again) chief nurse who bends and breaks the rules when it is called for, but only then. she is also nearly always right, makes no mistakes and stands up against the arrogant doctors. all way to perfect to be interesting and really likable.
the story lines also seem to be written only to show her holiness in the right light. even if she makes a mistake, it all turns out OK, everyone forgives her when she apologizes at once and all is well again. that leaves pretty little room for serious character development too, unless you want to destroy this picture of a model citizen.
the only good thing i can say about this show, is that some side characters are made of better material. but even most of them are textbook stereotypes and even solid acting can save little when there is nothing to save to begin with.

Summary:

The series picks up in the aftermath of the accident as she must deal with a new not-so-fun stigma, while at the same time managing the other daily drama that comes with being a teenager. From a secret relationship with a popular guy, to being undermined by a mean girl, and parents who just don't get it - Jenna's misfortune will eventually serve as the catalyst for amazing change, but it's not without some missteps and mishaps along the way.

Storyline:
"Awkward" is about the specific incidents in our formative years that define us -sometimes for the best and sometimes for the worst. The show centers around fifteen-year-old Jenna Hamilton, who, like many, feels invisible to her peers and desperately wants to find her place--which is hard to do in a day and age where fitting in means standing out. Unfortunately, Jenna's visibility comes on the heels of an accident that gives her a not-so-fun stigma. I'm 25, and a straight male, so I'm going to have to fake it here: "Awkward." is one of the best new shows on MTV right now, which unfortunately in this day and age, does not really count for much. After a myriad of repeats of everything from "Teen Mom" to "Jersey Shore," it's nice to see a decent teen comedy show on the air once again.
I really mean it when I say that "Awkward." is a decent show. No, correction: it's an above average show that manages to actually be very funny, in addition to being very raunchy. Think about MTV's other semi-good teen comedy series, "The Hard Times of RJ Berger." Like "Hard Times," "Awkward." has been easily influenced by the recent wave of popular teen comedies at the movies, most notably 2010's "Easy A" (this show's premise borrows a central plot element from that film).
"Awkward." is also heavily influenced by the films of the late John Hughes (1950-2009), that Brat Pack filmmaker behind such classics as "Sixteen Candles" (1984), "The Breakfast Club" (1985) (my personal favorite), and "Pretty in Pink" (1986). Using those movies as an influence for its plot basis, "Awkward." tells the story of Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards), a virtual 15-year-old nobody at a posh Southern California high school. She narrates the show through her online blog postings.
It's clearly established early on that Jenna is in fact, quite wise beyond her years, so obviously that has got to make her a target from the more popular students. Rickards is able to give her character a sense of humanity and vulnerability that makes her seem like a real person and not a Molly Ringwald stereotype (a moment late in the second episode really makes this clear).
During the summer, Jenna had a brief affair with Matty (Beau Mirchoff), the hottest hunk in school, and said affair ultimately resulted in her losing her virginity. The problem is that Jenna and every other girl in school is lusting after Matty, who does in fact appear to have genuine feelings for Jenna but does not want to take their relationship public, for obvious reasons. As the season begins, the new school year has just started and we're shown Jenna's daily life as a societal outcast at her school, her promiscuous best friend Tamara (Jillian Rose Reed), and her overweight cheer-leading nemesis Sadie (Molly Tarlov).
Before you know it, a freak accident one night in her bathroom results in a misconstrued rumor that Jenna had tried to commit suicide, and the rumor mill at her school goes ballistic with the news. A la Emma Stone's social-climbing Olive Pendergast in "Easy A," Jenna is thrust to the top of the high school social ladder - she's the new "it" girl that everyone is talking about - and she also has to deal with the common trials & tribulations of being a teenager on the verge of adulthood.
"Awkward." is a genuinely funny and entertaining show, if you have a thing for teen shows. Sure it rehashes a lot of what we've seen in the past to the point that it's pretty much overkill. And Lord knows we've seen enough teen comedies over the years to know what to expect from shows like this. But where "Awkward." gets points is, I think, is its knowledge of its influences, namely the works of John Hughes. Hughes was known for complex, yet uniquely human portrayals of teenagers in his films and "Awkward." appears to display some of the humanist complexities that Hughes had made his trademark back in the '80s. You can see it with Jenna and how torn she is between Matty and another popular hunk named Jake (Brett Davern).
With this in mind, this series definitely shows promise, promise that I hope is not squandered on stupid sex jokes, humor, and raunchiness - although there is already plenty of that here.

I have loved many of Gordon Ramsey's shows that have been brought to the US, however, it was a VERY fast season with the two hour episodes. The judges seemed fair, but sometimes I wish they couldn't see the dishes being created. It would seem more honest if they had to judge blindly.
The contestants are challenged in many ways and it is great to see how they adjust to the unplanned and unfamiliar. This show teaches that you don't have to be fancy or complicated, but true to the food and your passion. I do think they have their favorites but, otherwise, I love the show and can't wait for the next season.

I watched the first episode and instantly loved it . This show is great i do not want to miss an episode ever but it's hard to go from week to week waiting to see what happens ! Plus their are characters that have been on other shows and movies I have seen . I like to see the different personalities of the characters in this show from other things they have been on . When you watch it you get lost in the show and lose track of your surroundings ! This show is a great version of a teen super human story . The show are a little time consuming but they are worth it to watch . My main point is this show is one of the best I have ever watched !

This is an amazing teen drama that should be recommended watching for all teens. The characters are 3 dimensional and all sorts of religions and races are showcased.
Some of the episodes are more intense than others, which is just like teen life. Sometimes horrible things happen, sometimes they don't. This show covers all ranges of topics, including teen pregnancy, abusive boyfriends and homosexuality. These are all topics that teens experience in high school, and there is no sugar-coating.
My favourite character is Marco, and I feel he has really grown as a character. He started out as just another guy, but turned into a sensitive, sweet, and overall amazing guy.
I definitely recommend teens watch this, but also parents. I know my mom loves watching it with me! What I don't recommend is anyone under 12 watching this. I have met people who just don't get it, and think it's gross or stupid because they are too young to comprehend what is going on. It is a great Canadian (yeah!!!) teen show.
9 stars out of 10. (I don't believe in anything being perfect, I think everything can be improved)

You know when sometimes you stumble upon peoples/shows/movies on IMDb and they look intriguing so you decide to watch. This was one for me. I found this one night as I was going through Ashley Benson's profile, and good thing I did because I absolutely love it.
Its an amazing show and keeps you hooked for every single minute. I just cannot wait to find out who A is.
Everything in this show is interconnected. You can't miss a single episode.
It's about four girls- Aria, Hannah, Emily and Spencer who are trying to find out what happened to Ally, the somewhat leader of their clique, who disappeared one summer night.
I really recommend this to everyone.
