The film centers on the Spanish police’s discovery of hours of recorded evidence that shed new light on a gruesome murder investigation. The found footage documents a family’s summer holiday, where a brother and sister investigate a terrifying local urban legend. As their investigation intensifies, strange occurrences in and around the house escalate rapidly, before culminating in unspeakable atrocities.

Storyline:
In April 4th of 2010, Quintanilla family was found murdered in their country side house. Police reported the existence of 37 hours of recorded evidence. "Atrocious" shows the real images of such evidence. Quintanilla family traveled to their old farm house in Sitges, where Christian and July investigated about the Legend of the Girl in the Garraf woods. Both of them used to record all day whatever they did. On the fifth day of their arrival they were found dead under strange circumstances. ATROCIOUS shows the last five days of life for Cristian Quintanilla and his siblings. It also shows the strange situations that they lived in those moments and which remain unexplained.
The Quintanilla family was found dead. Recorded evidence was discovered by the police. Production company acquires the confidential material and edits it into a Horror Movie.

Movie Plot Summary:

First film we saw of the TIFF 2010 season and a great start it was. Very engaging movie with great acting that makes the viewer wonder at times if the unbelievable really might be plausible. There were lots of laughs (and, according to the director - an affable chap, mostly in the right places) as well as many poignant moments which all flowed together into a satisfying conclusion. Absolutely worth seeing and superior to the spate of would-be superhero movies making movie theater rounds the last few years. Ryan Kwanten, as Griff, quickly draws the audience to his side through his earnest belief in his cause and has them rooting for him and his mission. Maeve Dermody gives a sense of otherworldliness to the character of Melody; she is strange and adorable. An office bully and a well meaning brother thrown into the mix make the duties of this superhero harder than necessary.

Ned (Rudd) is a well-meaning idealist who has just been released from prison for dealing cannabis. Rudd plays Ned, a stoner who has frizzled his neurons to the point that he has lost any ability to detect or dish out B.S. The poster child for what it means to be ingenuous, Ned is a trusting, playful, adorable stray puppy who isn't quite housebroken. So you-know-what hits the fan when his three sisters serially take him in after his release from jail. He's nothing but tsuris. It's no wonder that his most enduring relationship is with his dog, Willie Nelson.
Thanks to Rudd's everyman persona and the genial obliviousness he brings to Ned, you can't help but feel empathy. As with a suspense film where the audience knows what's going to happen but the characters are still in the dark, you want to yell out to warn Ned before he screws up again. His perfect comic timing and the made-to-order script make sure you get the most laughs from his predicament. Luckily, there's more to him than just bad luck. He's also an endearing white angel on the shoulders of his sisters, helping them fight their devils as he becomes an unwitting catalyst for change.

A drama set centered around the war between Russia and Georgia, and focused on an American journalist, his cameraman, and a Georgian native who become caught in the crossfire.
The film starts with a brief scene in Iraq where the Georgian contingent of the coalition forces saves the life of an American reporter Thomas Anders. After Anders loses one of his colleagues in Iraq, he returns to Los Angeles but soon goes to Georgia on the advice of some of his friends in Tbilisi, who suspect that a large conflict is brewing. He, along with his cameraman Sebastian Ganz, delve deeper into Georgian life as conflict escalates and they get caught in the crossfire when an air raid strikes a local wedding they stumble upon. With the help of a Georgian soldier who saved them in Iraq, their mission becomes to get their report out of the country to raise awareness of violence they have witnessed.
Filming started in October 2009, in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Filming took 36 days with a budget of 12 million dollars.
According to the Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili the film was not financed by the Georgian government, but one of the producers, David Imedashvili, said that the initial funding for the project came from a Georgian government fund. According to Georgian media the movie was financed by Koba Nakopia, a parliamentarian from the ruling United National Movement  party of Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili. Also credited as producer are director Renny Harlin, George Lascu and Mirza Davitaia, the current Georgian State Minister for "diaspora issues", who at the time of filming was the Georgian Deputy Minister, Ministry of Culture, Monument Protection and Sports.
One of the buildings of the Georgian Presidential administration was used for filming parts of the movie. Some members of the special effects team were Russian and had previously worked on Night Watch (2004 film). The military equipment and personnel used in the film were temporarily lent by the Georgian army.

Directed by Renny Harlin and financed by the Georgian government, this drama is a Russian-bashing screed about the 2008 South Ossetia war and the events leading to it. The movie revolves around the experiences of two news reporters Thomas Anders (Rupert Friend) and Sebastian Ganz (Richard Coyle) who accept an assignment in Tbilisi, Georgia, a year after their previous assignment together in Iraq ended badly: the two men were rescued by a Georgian military unit in that country after their car was ambushed by militants. Anders and Ganz's noses for news (and trouble) get them fired upon while watching a wedding at a rural Georgian inn, avoiding capture while witnessing and filming atrocities by Russian troops who have invaded the country, and ending up as prisoners of a Russian general (Rade Serbedzija). While simultaneously escaping, yet being drawn to, trouble and danger, the reporters pick up a Georgian woman, Tatia (Emmanuelle Chriqui), a guest at the wedding at the inn. Through Tatia and a collective effort to broadcast Ganz's images to the rest of the world while keeping them away from the Russians, Anders finds a new purpose in life and a reason to go on living.
The romance between Anders and Tatia doesn't make sense: why should the two fall in love simply because chance threw them together and put them in danger together and individually? Any "chemistry" that might exist isn't present and the pair's kiss looks like an after-thought. More believable is Anders's loyalty to Ganz when Ganz is injured in a bomb attack and apparently dying: the two have been in many intense life-and-death situations which few other people can understand and sympathise with. Both men are devoted to seeking the truth behind layers of propagandistic fog though paradoxically this search can make them vulnerable to manipulation by politicians and the military. The plot's emphasis on safeguarding the memory stick that holds Ganz's images and the Russians' attempt to destroy it leaves no room for character development with the result that Anders, Ganz and their fellow journalists end up perpetuating old World War Two stereotypes about Russian soldiers torturing and killing people, raping women and torching farms and properties with flamethrowers. (Such stereotypes admittedly are based on fact: Soviet soldiers did act barbarically towards German civilians in the 1940s, partly as a result of the debased culture in the Soviet armed forces that arose after the purges of high-ranking military officers in the 1930s as ordered by Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, a Georgian native - what irony.) As the movie carries on, hackneyed plot twists appear: Tatia's family is riven apart by internal betrayal, Ganz is threatened with torture by the Russian general's sadistic enforcer (Nikko Mousiainen), an attempt to broadcast Ganz's images fails when the reporters are targeted by a Russian helicopter, and Ganz is hurt in the helicopter attack. The enforcer kidnaps Tatia and forces Anders to choose between saving her life and keeping Ganz's film.....

Paddy Considine will be playing Sergeant Porter Nash, an openly gay cop that works with the homophobic Brant.

Storyline:
Detective Sergeant Tom Brant who is dispatched to take down a serial killer hell bent on killing off the police force one by one. "The Blitz" manages to slip through the grasp of Tom every time, and with the precious lives of his colleagues diminishing one by one, Tom is led to the question: if we can't protect our own, then what good are we?

Good but not great.

Blitz is a good movie that finally comes to life about 20 to 30 minutes in when we finally get to the main story. Once the chase is on with the odd couple partnership of tough rule breaking Tom Brant (Jason Statham) and gay straight laced Porter Nash (Paddy Considine) pursuing the cop killing criminal who's hungry for notoriety the Blitz (Aiden Gillen) the movie comes into it's stride. Before that we're inundated with so many characters it's a little confusing. What makes matters worse is that none of these side characters stories are ever really finished and the time wasted on them could have been spent giving a little more screen time to Porter Nash who is sadly underused.

The critically acclaimed E4 comedy series returns for its final swansong in the form of an hour and a half film which contains among other things, sun, sex, booze, sea, booze, and, er, well sex. It is essentially an extended episode, instead of rolling this out as a summer or Christmas special under differing circumstances, writers Damon Beesley and Iain Morris who were the primary writers on the television series, have shrewdly decidedly to capitalize on the series' short fame and enter the cinematic market instead. Will's (Simon Bird) narration returns as does the crude jokes and the toilet humour, but isn't that what made the 'Inbetweeners' so hilariously funny? It's a silly, contains a formulaic plot, and stereotypical characters, but what really makes the four boys work, is there childish banter, and sexual optimism that reminds us all of what it was like to be eighteen again.

Movie Premiere Report:
Farewell Will, Jay, Simon and Neil, we've loved you so (from a safe distance). Short of following the boys to uni - not beyond the realms of possibility considering the social mayhem offered by freshers' week - The Inbetweeners Movie is a last, drunken salute from the much-loved posse.They went out in fine style on the red carpet of the movie's premiere - suited, booted and without a briefcase in sight. Nice to see Simon Bird bringing one of Will's natty bow ties along, though, as the boys made fwiends with the Leicester Square crowds.It's been a meteoric ascent from Rudge Park Comprehensive to the bright lights of a West End premiere. The movie-fied E4 show takes Will, Simon (Joe Thomas), Neil (Blake Harrison) and the clunge-fixated Jay (James Buckley) on a lads’ holiday to the island of Mali. But will it be turn out like Blue Lagoon or Blue Valentine for them?

It’s about time. One of the main reasons we’ve been looking forward to this Fright Night remake was the inclusion of David Tennant. And how do the first trailers go? Not a single damn shot of the Doctor himself. Well, lucky for us the newest one fixed that problem fairly easily. They simply included him. It’s really that simple, folks. Give us what we want and we’re happy.
Anyway, the addition of Tennant doesn’t really swing me one way or the other about the film (gonna see it anyway; not expecting greatness) and we learn a little more about the mythology of the film. Also, there are hot vampire chicks. So, there’s that.

Just as thrilling and fun as it is gory and violent,

I got a chance to see a advanced screening of Conan last night and going in to the theater i had some doubts because for the past 10 years we have seen so many classic movie's rebooted and 80% of those movie's were the same as the original's just more violent or added special effects so naturally I thought Conan was going to make 81% but i was joyfully wrong. Director (Marcus Nispel) did a nice job putting his own stamp into the movie and not making a carbon copy of the original.

The acting- the acting in this is far better than the original, Jason Momoa is great as our favorite Barbarian and to think 4 moths ago i had never even heard his name before.Now Rose Mcgowan just bugged the hell out of me with that silly make up and wooden acting so there was no tears dropped then she came to her demise.But the 2 actors who stole the picture was Ron Pearlman as Conan's father and the always great Stephen Lang, as the bloodthirsty Khalar Zym. and the rest of the cast was wonderful as well.

It's better than most,

The other reviewer had all bad things to say about the show. It's a reality show that's as he mentioned 30 minutes long so of course they aren't going to go into a lot of history. That's what all the documentary shows are for. This is about this gun shop in Louisiana. I like the fact that the editing isn't absolutely horrid like most reality shows(the ones that could be decent on history and discovery like "axemen", or top shot). What I mean is almost all "reality shows" over edit the shows and make it look like more serious drama is coming up after the commercial etc and focus way too much on BS and that kind of stuff. This show doesn't do that so it gets bonus points from me. Overall its less annoying than most shows and is decently entertaining so far. It's about a gun shop so if your into guns its entertaining and better than shows like top shot that are more about the BS survivor like charades and "drama between participants. Bottom line as with any show don't take much stock in reviews(even mine) and just watch it and make your own decision. Don't let a reviewer that says it's horrid keep you from trying it out.

I must first say about this series that the premise is outstanding, and one that has crossed my mind on numerous occasions. What would happen if a medieval knight met up with a samurai? Who would be victorious in battle?
The show then attempts to determine whom is the better warrior amongst two different kinds in history - in many cases two warriors that are separated by many centuries. The arms and armors available to these warriors are demonstrated, both in their lethal potential or in their stopping power in the case of armor. The demonstrations are fascinating, including weapons experts that strike or fire their weapons at ballistics gel encased, and presumably reproduction skeletons. A physician or medical specialist then examines the footage, or the dummy in some cases, and describes the type of trauma inflicted. At the end, we get a well choreographed fight between two re-enactors dressed in costume to simulate the potential outcome of such a contest, as well as a statistics model that determines the winner in 1,000 contests. I like this concept because despite the advantages a particular warrior might possess over another, the randomness of combat will ensure that even the presumably better warrior will lose at least a percentage of the time.
The problems with the show are many, however, and seriously challenge the credibility of the participants. As others have pointed out, a warrior is more than the sum of his weapons and armor, which the show spends the most amount of time demonstrating. I think the premise could be dropped and have the show focus on weapons demonstrations only. Although the mindset, culture, tactics, and goals of each warrior are mentioned, these descriptions are brief and superficial. In addition,the hypothetical combats displayed are all duels. Most of the warriors portrayed would rarely, if ever, be faced with a duel situation, instead fighting in a unit of many soldiers/warriors. The worst part for me has to be the banter or trash talk between the weapons experts representing each respective warrior. It reminds me of a WWE matchup or a pre-boxing/MMA trash session instead of a presumably serious and/or scientific look at a hypothetical combat situation.
At any rate, I do enjoy the show because it has many good aspects. But the flaws do not make for "must-see" TV. If they would focus a little more on the tactics, drop the banter, and perhaps consider tactical unit combat instead of duels, I believe the show would be much improved. The producers are obviously trying to cater to a younger, action thirsty crowd, perhaps in an effort to make history more interesting. I applaud this rationale if nothing else, but the more discriminating viewers with a desire for logical and factual history, such as myself, are often left wanting.

For a guilty pleasure, this show is a full package. It is like toddlers and tiaras--but don't let that stop you. Unlike that show, Abby Lee's show features charming dancers, a no-nonsense and dogmatic yet completely respectable and talented instructor, moms who vary in sanity and charm, and downright real entertainment in dance. Let me take that back. It's not much like toddlers and tiaras, as these people are real. Despite their abnormal devotion to dance life, each mom and daughter is authentic. Like them or not, each person makes a good point and has a different perspective. The fun is in watching these perspectives collide while being wowed by the behind the scenes and performances of talented and beautiful dancers.

Over the years it's been a pleasure to see on many cable series and the FX's "Rescue Me" the work of Callie Thorne, I've saw her in many sexy scenes. Yet her work and clever look always produce blunt and brash outspoken performances she's a fine actress. So I was so glad when the USA Network decided to give her a series of her own, and "Necessary Roughness" fits her perfect, as Callie shows she has some range as an actress.
Set in Long Island, New York Thorne is Dr. Dani Santino who as an upscale and elegant attractive psychotherapist mother of two finds herself in the dumps when she discovers her husband has cheated on her. Yet for every negative a positive will come, it seemed like a dream for Dani when she gets the call for pro football's New York Hawks(a fictional one)to be a therapist and shrink for the team. And her most famous client is troubled star wide receiver Terrence King(Mehcad Brooks)and this cat gives Dani plenty of headaches and mental pain as talent is no break from being a head case! Aside from that dealing with the growing pains of her teenage kids is enough as she has to monitor many of their moves.
Still the doc has a little side pleasure in the form of some one night stands with team trainer the hunky Matthew(Marc Blucas). As anyone would agree and see why that Matthew has a thing for Dani she's one hot sexy doc! And her professional work is well respected as it leads her to counsel and analyze many other type of clients from entertainers, celebrities, and other sports and media figures and even politicians as everyone needs a shrink! Overall this is one good series that proves with a little advice and direction fear and many other problems can be faced and overcome in a permanent manner. And Callie Thorne is a delight she's a tough as nails and very sexy cougar who cares about people problems in this series. So do yourself a favor and take the field and get ready for the game of life that's just "Necessary Roughness".

FX told the press in January 2011 that the nine-episode seventh season, the show's last, would premiere Tuesday, July 12, 2011, and formally announced it in April. The final season focuses on Veteran Firefighter Tommy Gavin dealing with his 9/11 sightings along with the hatred he has for the civilians, politicians, and journalists making money off the memory of 9/11. The network later shifted the timeslot to Wednesdays, moving the season premiere to July 13 and the finale to September 7, 2011.
The show was well received when it premiered. The series premiere garnered Denis Leary and Peter Tolan an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series. Tolan also received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series. Leary received another Emmy nomination the next year, this time for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. The debut episode was seen by almost 4.1 million viewers, ranking #8 all-time for series premieres in basic cable. Season one and two averaged 2.7 and 2.8 million viewers, respectively.
Controversy surrounded Rescue Me after an episode in season 3 ("Sparks") showed Tommy raping his ex-wife, Janet. A few minutes later, Tommy leaves the home and Janet is on the couch reading a magazine. Two episodes later ("Zombies"), Janet forces herself on Tommy to make them "even". A later episode dealt with Sheila, the wife of Tommy's deceased cousin, drugging him with rohypnol and Viagra and then proceeding to rape him.

Storyline:
Tommy Gavin deals with the fears of his job as a firefighter and seeing his ex-wife dating other men.

The main characters are not believable or interesting. It doesn't help that they are not strong actors. Hank is too upstanding and too sensitive. He needs to get his guy card back. Evan provides the "idiot plot" by never shutting up when a few words would clear things up. Or he suddenly develops some phobia, tic, whatever, to prevent a simple resolution. As an example, his behavior on the yacht. Hank and Jill's romance is too artificially complicated. The husband is a grinning buffoon. Boris and Divya are OK. The weekly predicaments are way too contrived. I plan to watch the finale for mathematical completeness, but that's it.

Big Brother 13 is the thirteenth season of the American reality television series, Big Brother.
