In other developments, the witch Marnie (Fiona Shaw) allowed the spirit of Antonia (Paola Turbay) to enter her body and make her into an even more powerful threat to the vampires. And down in Mexico, Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) came into his own power when he saved the life of Jesus (Kevin Alejandro).

Contrary to expectations, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) did not turn into a were-panther on the full moon, and he was comforted by Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), the vampire lover of his best friend, Hoyt (Jim Parrack). Unfortunately, Jason and Jessica may be getting a little too close and in this week's first preview scene, Jason has a hard time hiding his guilt from Hoyt...
Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and Debbie (Brit Morgan) were also briefly glimpsed last week as they encountered Sookie in the field while on their way to a werewolf induction ceremony. In the second preview clip, Alcide and Debbie join their new werewolf pack, but Alcide's thoughts are on the other pretty blonde in his life...

Review:
Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande, written and directed by actor Parvin Dabas is not the first film on development and displacement. There have been innumerable films made earlier that has brought our attention to the struggle and misery caused by vacating people from their land in the name of progressive development. Film makers have time and again tried experimenting with the true saga.
Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande is a story of a group of four friends Rajbir (Parvin Dabas), Sexy (Vansh Bhardwaj), Ambani (Ashish Nayyar) and Doctor (Kuldeep Ruhil), who have big dreams and aspirations. Fauji played by Sharat Saxena gives them a job that will give them all the money that they require. In the process they have to go against their conscience and deceive their own villagers.
The plight of land owners who have to sacrifice their land is brought out well as also the link ups between the politicians and the industrialists.
The narration of the story is not consistent. Director Parvin Dabas is unable to keep the audience engaged at all times which shows his inexperience as a film maker.
Plus Points:
Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande will make the thinking audience question and help us focus on the problem of dislodgement. Though the film highlights a key national issue, it is in no way monotonous. The movie has it's own share of happy moments. However, one cannot help say that the director has not done complete justice to the story.
Perfomances:
Performances by all actors are commendable.
Over All:
Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande a socially responsible, thought provoking cinema. A decent watch!

Giving a green signal to Amitabh Bachchan starrer Aarakshan in Uttar Pradesh, the Supreme Court today lifted the ban imposed by the state, saying that public discussion and conflict are necessary in a vibrant democracy like India.

A bench of Justice Mukundakam Sharma and Justice AR Dave lifted the two months ban on the film by the state government. The courts stated that the restrictions on Aarakshan's release would go against the democratic value of free speech and expression in India. Though UP was adamant to fight the court's decision, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh, which had also banned the screening of the film, told the court that they have decided to permit the release of Aarakshan.
"In a democracy, particularly in a vibrant democracy like ours, public discussion is necessary for its smooth running. In fact, such discussions bring awareness on social issues for effective working of the democracy. In fact, when there is such public discussion and dissent there would be a informed public opinion which is necessary for our society," " said the bench, while writing the order.

The apex court passed the order, acting on the writ petition filed by film maker Prakash Jha challenging the decision of UP, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh, to suspend the screening of the film. The court dismissed the argument of UP counsel UU Lalit that the film would lead to breach of law and order in the state. Lalit also argued that the state had the power to suspend the screening in the interest of peace in the state even if the film has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The bench stated that Aarakshan has already been screened by all other states in India, including those which are considered to be sensitive to these feelings. "It is for the state to maintain law and order. It shall maintain law and order effectively and in a meaningful manner," the bench observed agreeing to senior counsel Harish Salve for the producer, that the state can suspend the screening of a film only in extraordinary cases.
The apex court also cleared that the high level committee constituted by the State government, which viewed Aarakshan and directed deletion of a few scenes, had exercised a power which was not vested with it. They said that the censorship powers was vested with the CBSE alone.

Yesterday, there were reports that actor Salman Khan has been rushed to the Saifee hospital for angiography, from his film sets. However the confirmed reports state that there is nothing to worry about, the actor is fit and fine and had been shooting at the Yash Raj studio the entire day.

While all Salman Khan fans panicked after hearing the news, with constantly tweeting and discussing about the actor's health, it was brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri (Bodyguard producer) who came to their rescue. The upcoming season of the South Asian Film Festival (SAFF) in Goa will pay tribute to legendary Bollywood veteran Shammi Kapoor, who passed away recently in Mumbai. SAFF Secretary General Rahul Barua informed reporters that the festival will hold a special screening of the actor's hit film Brahmachari.

South Asian Film Festival is usually held annually in Goa for three days. This years festival is scheduled from 15 to 18 September. The organisers have also planned to screen Shammi Kapoor's film Kashmir Ki Kali (1964), Barua said adding that around 50 films from South Asian nations would be screened during the festival.
The films from Bhutan will have a separate segments in the film festival as its is the 'focus country' of Saff 2011. Bhutanese Film Industry and members of the Motion Pictures Association of Bhutan (MPAB) will represent its industry during the event.
The festival organisers also informed that film personalities like Subhash Ghai, Randhir Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt and Sharmila Tagore would also be conducting workshops on various aspects of film making like script writing, direction, and others during the South Asian Film Festival.

The actress was clueless about it when one of her friends informed her about the rumours. On further investigation it was revealed that someone related to her upcoming film played a prank as a part of the publicity stunt for The Dirty Picture.

An over enthusiastic team member of the unit of her forthcoming film asked his friend to post a false message on Twitter about Vidya's marriage. The message was soon re-tweeted and went viral on internet. When Vidya came to know about the rumours she issued a statement through her publicist clarifyinf the rumours.

"I am not shooting any wedding album at the moment. I am too busy shooting The Dirty Picture," Vidya said in her statement she issued through her publicist. However, this incident has alerted Vidya who is not in a mood to spare the one who tried to mess up with her image. Vidya is very hurt with the incident and has decided to not give any kind of further clarification.
