On December 10, 2010, TNT announced that the upcoming seventh season of The Closer, which began production in the spring of 2011, will be the show's last. The channel said that the decision to retire the show was made by Kyra Sedgwick. On January 30, 2011, the media announced that the final season would add six episodes to the usual fifteen episode order, the final six being the build toward a possible spin-off series. On May 18, 2011, TNT announced that the spin-off, entitled Major Crimes and starring Mary McDonnell as Captain Sharon Raydor, had been picked up for a 10-episode

Series Summary:
Brenda and her squad have to investigate the reason why seven people died and whether the record label owner is responsible for the deaths. Sergeant Gabriel may have to be removed from the case because he knows two of the victims from church. Chief Delk is about to announce his plans for the reorganization. Brenda's own pending trouble becomes known when she learns her past actions are the focus of a lawsuit filed against the police department,
major crimes-and Brenda herself. The show opens with a woman frantically yelling for her son, Eric, as she runs around a suburban neighborhood. Then the camera cuts to a desk covered with papers and photos from the Shootin’ Newton murders. (I guess they call that foreshadowing.)It turns out her nine-year-old son is missing. He was supposed to ride his bike to the summer camp around the corner but never made it. As the divorced mother and father argue at the camp over whose fault it is that their son is missing, an older kid who is a counselor at the camp pipes up that his dad has driven up and he is a cop. Maybe he can help. The family of a prominent minister could find itself in big trouble while also trying to protect the church, as the squad looks into the crime. Major crimes could find itself in an interesting situation after someone doesn't get a subpoena, leaving everyone on the squad wondering who and why that person didn't get the subpoena to question what might happen next..The family of a prominent minister could find itself in big trouble while also trying to protect the church, as the squad looks into the crime. Major crimes could find itself in an interesting situation after someone doesn't get a subpoena, leaving everyone on the squad wondering who and why that person didn't get the subpoena to question what might happen next.Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson (Sedgwick) runs the Priority Homicide Division of the LAPD with an unorthodox style. Her innate ability to read people and obtain confessions helps her and her team solve the city's toughest, most sensitive cases.

Episode Storylines:
Brenda seeks Capt. Raydor's help in an investigation of possible police brutality; Brenda's attorney starts deposing the squad about the Baylor case.
Things are about to get complicated for Brenda and she will have to do something unusual she will need to ask for help in a drug cartel case that doesn't fall under major crimes jurisdiction.  ‘‘Bad Girls Club’ is like watching a train wreck, as alliances quickly form and fights break out you can hardly watch, but you can’t look away. It’s the television equivalant of fast food – it goes down easy, it’s fun in the dumbest possible way, and then leaves you feeling like a horrible person for having enjoyed it so much. And this season is in New Orleans, so it’s sure to be drunker and crazier than ever…We start with a fight. One of the girls throws a pan of food at Priscilla (at least I think it’s Priscilla), which inevitably leads to a fight. This is intense already. We flash back to the girls’ arrival in New Orleans.First we’re introduced to Judi from Chicago, who brags that she has over 5,000 friends on Facebook. She arrives at the house first, and it’s a pretty nice pad. Judi says she’s creole, and claims the life size voodoo doll near the stripper pole.
Next, 25 year-old Priscilla from New York, who says she’s been a bad girl for life.Next is Natashia, the California girl, but not the laid-back California type. She seems tough as nails.Priscilla and Natasia hit it off on the limo ride to the house. Perhaps an early alliance?Tiara arrives, a midwestern girl from Indiana, who says she’s fun but tough. What kind of name is Tiara? She meets Natasia and Priscilla, and Natasia says thinks she’s going to get along with Tiara.Judi has a feeling the voodoo doll is going to be her only friend.Angelic from da Bronx, is a go-go dancer. Angelic and Judi meet and seem to get along. They kick off a season of drinking with some beers.Shelly is the blonde , who warns that girls shouldn’t show her their weaknesses to her. Time for shots. Already, there seems to be even more drinking than normal on Bad Girls Club.Tasha is 23 and from Miami, she’s the bratty rich girl type of bad girl. The rest of the girls arrive at the house and everyone starts partying and having a good time. Tasha predicts that the season will be drama and craziness. Well, yeah. This is the Bad Girls Club. The girls go to Bourbon street for their first night out. Dancing and bad music, test tube shots and Judi hitting on some guy. Shelly complains that she’s not hanging with the rest of the group..Season 7 begins with seven ill-behaved women infiltrating a house in New Orleans. Friendships soon develop, but their newfound bonds are tested. The Bad Girls Club: New Orleans is the seventh season of the Oxygen reality television series

Episode Storylines:
The Girls book a hotel suite for Mardi Gras. The Bad Girls book a suite for an upcoming Mardi Gras party, while Shelly is uncertain to who her real friends are. Meanwhile, tensions reach a peak between Shelly and Judi, to the point where a physical altercation occurs between the two.

U.S. Marshal Jack Carter stumbles upon Eureka while transporting a fugitive prisoner (his own rebellious teenage daughter Zoe) back to her mother's home in Los Angeles. When a faulty experiment cripples the sheriff of Eureka, Carter finds himself quickly chosen to fill the vacancy. Despite not being a genius like most members of the town, Jack Carter's ability to connect to others, his simple but effective ideas, his above average intelligence in practicality, and his steadfast dedication to his work repeatedly saves Eureka, and sometimes the entire world, from one would-be disaster after another.

Episode Storylines:
Sen. Wen conducts final evaluations of the Astraeus candidates, and the aspiring crew mates are fitted with memory-reading devices that expose their inner motives for wanting to join the mission; Carter and Allison wear the memory-reading devices as part of their appeal to reverse the ruling on their relationship; bizarre attacks occur around town that could threaten the Astraeus mission. The Big C Season 2, Episode 10 How Do You Feel? Air On 29th August 2011

The Big C Season 2, Episode 10 How Do You Feel? 10:30 PM Showtime

Series Info:
The Big C is a Showtime original television series created by Darlene Hunt which premiered on August 16, 2010. It drew the largest audience for a Showtime original series premiere in eight years. On September 20, The Big C was renewed for a second season which premiered on June 27, 2011.
The Big C is a Showtime original series created by Darlene Hunt and starring Laura Linney. She plays a reserved, fortysomething, suburban wife and mother whose recent cancer diagnosis forces her to shake up her life and find hope, humor and the light side of a dark situation, while managing her immature but well-meaning husband, played by Oliver Platt. The show follows Cathy Jamison, a reserved suburban wife and mother whose recent stage-IV melanoma diagnosis forces her to really begin to live for the first time in her adult life. At first she chooses to keep the fact of her terminal illness secret from her family, behaving in ways they find puzzling and increasingly bizarre as she finds new freedom to express herself. As the show progresses, Cathy allows her family and some new friends to support her as she copes with her illness, and finds both humor and pathos in the many idioscyncratic relationships in her life.

Season 2 Summary:
The second season received similar reviews to the first, receiving a score of 64 on Metacritic. Maureen Ryan of AOL TV stated that "Having a character and her family deal with a potentially fatal illness is such a rich arena for both drama and black comedy, but so far, The Big C hasn't been able to mine that topic with consistent freshness and depth." Ken Tucker of Entertainment Weekly was critical towards the show, but commended the acting, stating that "Much of The Big C's unoriginal dramatization of cancer concerns is mitigated by the fresh, dynamic performances of Linney and Oliver Platt, How do you make a show about a person who’s dying of cancer and have it not be depressing? AMC has answered that question with Breaking Bad (set to return for Season 4 next month) and Showtime’s answer is The Big C, a series about her woman who’s struggling to get a grip on her life after learning that she has Stage IV melanoma. Last season ended with Cathy’s son Adam learning about her disease and coming to realize just how serious the situation is. Season 2 picks up with Cathy (Laura Linney) determined to beat her cancer and trying desperately to get an appointment with Dr. Atticus Sherman (Alan Alda), a doctor/magician who may be able to get her into a clinical trial, which could be the key to a cure for her disease. Cathy’s husband Paul (Oliver Platt) is trying to be the supportive, loving husband that Cathy needs, but he’s as new to cancer as his wife as and taking things as they come. You get the sense that they're together in this, for better or worse. Meanwhile, their son Adam (Gabriel Basso) is still adjusting to learning the truth about his mother’s illness, and part of that comes with added attention at school now that her diagnosis is public knowledge. Finally, Cathy’s mentally unstable brother Sean (John Benjamin Hickey) is preparing to be a father, having impregnated Cathy’s old college friend Rebecca (Cynthia Nixon). Marlene (Phyllis Somerville) may be dead, but she isn’t gone. The older woman took her own life last season after her dementia nearly caused her to shoot Adam. Now Sean has taken up residence in her house and Marlene is appearing to Cathy in brief hallucinations. Using a deceased character's ghost to give us an opportunity to get further into the mind of the lead character isn’t a new tactic. It’s worked nicely for Dexter and Rescue Me and it works just as well on The Big C. Death now has a face and a voice for Cathy. Marlene’s “ghost” gives Cathy a chance to say what few things she isn’t able to share with the other people in her lives. It also gives us more Phyllis Somerville, which is a bonus. .Paul plays matchmaker for Andrea and the Ukrainian coworker he is mentoring; an indiscreet Adam is responsible for jeopardizing Cathy's new job as a swim coach; and Sean contemplates taking the next step with Rebecca and seeks advice on how to go about it..Cathy tries dabbling in the supernatural after she's unsuccessful at scoring a spot in a clinical trial for a new cancer treatment overseen by a renowned oncologist (Alan Alda). Meanwhile, Sean takes on a take-charge attitude around the house, and Adam uses his mother's medical situation to his advantage at school.A suburban mom, diagnosed with cancer, tries to find the humor in the disease.Seeking to lower her blood pressure for the clinical trial, Cathy visits a Tibetan doctor with Lee and finds she has an unexpected connection to him; Paul decides to rise above his jealousy of Lee and go out with him and Cathy for an evening; a grounded and bored Adam nearly ruins Andrea's first date with Myk.
