The film is about the real mission to space in the 1970's that was canceled by NASA, or as the tagline says "There's a Reason We've Never Gone Back to the Moon"...
Officially, Apollo 17, launched December 17th, 1972 was the last manned mission to the moon. But a year later, in December of 1973, two American astronauts were sent on a secret mission to the moon funded by the US Department of Defense. What you are about to see is the actual footage which the astronauts captured on that mission. While NASA denies its authenticity, others say it's the real reason we've never gone back to the moon.

Movie Short Review:
I love this film, a must see and a great cinematographic experience!!!!
by marialosa56 (Mexico)
I truly love this film, is so funny and also so exciting, something that most of Mexican movies today seem to have forgotten. Is also a powerful story about family, I don't think is about to sanctified criminals, is about bad people doing a good thing in the middle of a terrible war and a crazy world. Antiheroes are here to stay in movies, since the beginning of cinema. And the antiheroes of "Salvando al soldado Pérez" are well presented, displayed and put into action and a weird but very enjoyable trip. I hope Mexican cinema learns from this movie to think about what cinema-goers expect from a movie: to have a very good time!!!!! By the way, I loved the references to Sergio Leone's movies and all the cinephile paraphernalia, including "Scarface", "Star Wars", you name it!!!!

The Help Hollywood Movie watch Trailer Reviews Story Cast And Crew

The Help (2011) Watch Trailer Review Story Cast And Crew

Movie Info:
The Help is a 2011 drama film adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's 2009 novel of the same name about a young white woman, Skeeter Phelan, and her relationship with two black maids during Civil Rights era America in early 1960s. The film stars Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jessica Chastain, Sissy Spacek, Mike Vogel and Allison Janney.
A look at what happens when a southern town's unspoken code of rules and behavior is shattered by three courageous women who strike up an unlikely friendship.

Movie Plot Summary:
Aibileen Clark (Viola Davis) is a middle-aged African-American maid who has spent her life raising white children and has recently lost her only son. Minny Jackson (Octavia Spencer) is an African-American maid whose outspokenness has gotten her fired many times and built up a reputation for being a difficult employee, but she makes up for this with her baking skills.
Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan (Emma Stone) is a young white woman who has recently moved back home after graduating from the University of Mississippi  to find that her beloved childhood maid has mysteriously disappeared. Unlike her friends, who have all married and are having children, Skeeter is interested in a career as a writer. Her first job is as a "homemaker hints" columnist in the local paper, and she asks Aibileen for her help in answering questions. Skeeter becomes uncomfortable with the attitude her friends have towards their "help", especially Hill Holbrook (Bryce Dallas Howard) and her "Home Help Sanitation Initiative", a proposed bill to provide for separate bathrooms for black help. Amidst the era of discrimination based on color, Skeeter is one of the few who believe otherwise, and she decides to write a book, "The Help," based on the lives of the maids who have spent their entire life taking care of white children and have been ill treated.
The maids are at first reluctant to talk to Skeeter, because they are afraid that they will lose their jobs or worse. Aibileen is the first to share her stories after she overhears Hilly's initiative and realizes that the children that she is raising are growing up to be just like their parents. Her friend, Minny, has just been fired as Hilly's maid and has gone to work for a wealthy social outcast, Celia Foote. Minny agrees to share her stories, too. Skeeter does a draft of the story with Minny and Aibileen's stories in it and sends it to an editor in New York, who thinks there may be some interest in it, but asks for more maids' contributions. No one comes forward until after Medgar Evers is assassinated in Jackson, Mississippi -- with racial tensions running high, the maids realize that Skeeter's book give them an opportunity for their voice to be heard, and Skeeter suddenly has numerous stories to include. The book is accepted for publication and is a success, much to the delight of Skeeter and the maids. She shares her royalties with each of the maids who contributed, and is offered a job with a publishing company in New York.
These three stories intertwine to explain how life in early-1960s' Jackson, Mississippi, revolves around "the help"; yet despite the intimate quarters in which whites and blacks live, there is always a certain distance between them because of racial lines.

Storyline:
Set in Mississippi during the 1960s, Skeeter (Stone) is a southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends' lives -- and a Mississippi town -- upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families. Aibileen (Davis), Skeeter's best friend's housekeeper, is the first to open up -- to the dismay of her friends in the tight-knit black community. Despite Skeeter's life-long friendships hanging in the balance, she and Aibileen continue their collaboration and soon more women come forward to tell their stories -- and as it turns out, they have a lot to say. Along the way, unlikely friendships are forged and a new sisterhood emerges, but not before everyone in town has a thing or two to say themselves when they become unwittingly -- and unwillingly -- caught up in the changing times.

Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life Movie watch Trailer Reviews Cast And Crew

Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life (2011) Watch Trailer Review Cast And Crew

Movie Info:
Gainsbourg (vie héroïque) is a 2010 drama film written and directed by Joann Sfar, based on his graphic novel. It is a biopic of French singer Serge Gainsbourg.
The film is about the life of French singer Serge Gainsbourg, from growing up in 1940s Nazi-occupied Paris through his successful international songwriting years in the 1960s to his death in 1991 at the age of 62.

Storyline:
A glimpse at the life of French singer Serge Gainsbourg, from growing up in 1940s Nazi-occupied Paris through his successful song-writing years in the 1960s to his death in 1991 at the age of 62. Best-selling comic book artist Joann Sfar delivers an inventive biography of famed French singer Serge Gainsbourg (Eric Elmosnino). Born Lucien Ginsburg to Russian-Jewish parents, Sfar follows him from his childhood in Nazi-occupied Paris, his transition from painter to jazz musician to pop superstar and his many relationships including Juliette Greco (Anna Mouglalis), Brigitte Bardot (Laetitia Casta) and Jane Birkin (Lucy Gordon) while employing a witty surrealistic style and a soundtrack that acts like a time capsule to '60's Paris.

Reviews:
It's not big or clever to smoke, and it doesn't make you look cool … unless you happen to be Serge Gainsbourg … !
by colin_coyne (London)
GAINSBOURG (Vie héroïque) … from the Studio Canal stable depicts the life story of Serge Gainsbourg from early childhood in the 1930's and 40's, until just before his death in 1991.
Born Lucien Ginsburg – and as an impressionable youth he felt outcast as being a Jewish child in Nazi occupied Paris in the 1940's – leading him to develop an imaginary friend who adopted an increasingly grotesque caricature / persona of himself that would lead him on to do more and more outrageous things to "rebel" his situation and to attempt to gain an element of "love" and "acceptance" from his notoriety.
A talented musician and artist, Lucien (who later was persuaded by friends to change his name to the more "acceptable" Serge Gainsbourg) became the darling of the social scene, charming his way through a succession of affairs with beautiful women – most notably Brigitte Bardot, Juliette Greco, and Jane Birkin.
I'm surprised that they didn't have a cigarette company sponsoring this movie – as the sheer amount of fags smoked during this film must be some sort of record!
After the showing of the film (at the Cineworld, Haymarket, London) we were treated to a Question and Answer session with the Writer / Director of this movie JOANN SFAR, who explained that the idea for the film came from his own graphic novel on Serge Gainsbourg penned by JOANN SFAR – and this pretty much formed the construct and ambiance of the movie – it is highly graphical and visual in it's content – much of it being fantasy visions and flashbacks within Gainsbourg's mind. Talking from the heart – Joann showed a real passion for the film, and was very open as to how the film was created.
Gainsbourg became the darling of French society with his talent and flair – but he also would court scandal and became infamous for the release of "Je t'aime... moi non plus" (which he originally wrote for Bardot) and the seemingly disrespectful reggae version of the French national anthem "La Marseillaise", but love him or loath him – you couldn't ignore him ..
The whole movie is very atmospheric, and some of the casting of this film was inspired – especially the terrific performances by Eric Elmosnini in the title role, the stunning beautiful Laetitia Casta as Brigitte Bardot, Lucy Gordon as Jane Birkin, Anna Mouglalis as Juliette Greco and Kacey Mottet Klein as the young Lucien Ginsburg.
At the end credits of the film is a dedication "to Lucy" which referred to the actress Lucy Gordon – who (the director explained) played the part of Jane Birkin in the film – and who had tragically committed suicide during the final editing parts of the film – a talented actress – and a sad loss.
At 2 hours 10mins long, in French with English subtitles GAINSBOURG will not be everyone's cup of tea … but the film DOES keep you entertained and if you give it a chance, I'm sure that you will not be
disappointed..It's not big or clever to smoke, and it doesn't make you look cool … unless you happen to be Serge Gainsbourg … !

Singer-turned-actress Beyonce Knowles has recently been roped to play the female lead in the movie A Star Is Born, but the production of director Clint Eastwood's upcoming project might postponed due to her pregnancy. The speculation about the delay in shooting started spreading after Beyonce announced at the 2011 MTV VMAs that she is expecting her first baby with Jay-Z, whom she married in April 2008.

Pregnant Beyonce Knowles

According to reports, Warner Bros. Pictures wants to begin filming as early as February 2012, but Beyonce Knowles' first pregnancy might force the the studio to push the production ahead. Clint Eastwood is yet to finalise the male lead for the film. If the remake project is postponed, the director will have more time to look for a suitable male co-star for the wife of Jay-Z.
A Star Is Born is an updated version of a romantic relationship between an alcoholic star on his way out and a young female artist on the rise. Hollywood actor Daniel Craig's next James Bond movie titled Bond 23 is scheduled to shoot in India. But the makes of the movie may change the location of the shoot to South Africa. According to reports, the film unit had asked for permission to block the railway tracks in Ahmadabad and Goa for the shooting and the Railway Ministry is yet to grant the permission.

The film Bond 23 has Daniel Craig doing stunts on a freight train. The movie bosses had requested the Indian Railway Ministry for the permission to block the railway tracks for the shooting of the movie. They have been waiting for the order for the past three months. The filming was to be done in October-November, but it has been postponed to January-February.

According to reports, trains are the backbone of the film Bond 23 and two tracks need to be blocked for eight hours a day over five to six days to accommodate shooting. But the railway department is reportedly finding it difficult to block tracks for such a long duration and it is even difficult to divert the trains.

However, the bosses of the James Bond movie say that blocking the tracks is very essential for the shooting of Bond 23. So they have postponed the filming and are eagerly waiting for response of the railway department. If the permission is not granted, they will be forced to change the location, probably to South Africa.

Actress Anne Hathaway has revealed that she was more tensed about the British accent than the nudity in her latest movie One Day. The American star, who appears as a Yorkshire girl Emma in the film, gushed that she was more comfortable stripping off for a skinny dipping scene with her co-star Jim Sturgess. But she was nervous about her character's regional dialect.

In an interview, Anne Hathaway said, "I was more nervous about the accent than nudity. I mean, you can do sit-ups as prep for the nudity. But there aren't a lot of vocal sit-ups that you can do. Maybe it's because I have more experience in my life being naked than pretending to be British. So I got more comfortable quickly with the nudity than I did with the accent."

However, Anne Hathaway, who was born in New York and raised in New Jersey, worked hard at mastering the accent. She stayed in the accent and used British-isms. But she was a little disappointed because she hoped to start dreaming in the accent, which could never happened.

Mallika Sherawat, popular for doing hot and sensual scenes is making waves in Hollywood with her bold antiques as well!

There is a car washing scene in the film Politics of Love which showcases Mallika Sherawat dressed in a tiny two piece washing a car with a sponge and wriggling over the car's bonnet. She is completely drenched and soaked in soapy lather trying to seduce co-star Brian White.

Mallika, who looks absolutely sizzling and hot in the two-piece says that she didn't look glamorous at all during the shoot of Politics of Love as she felt very dirty covered in foam. Besides, it was a very cold day and she had to be wrapped up in blankets in between shots so that her teeth would stop clattering.

Politics of Love earlier titled Love, Barack; is directed by William Dear and is set against the backdrop of the 2008 presidential elections. Mallika Sherawat plays the role of Aretha Gupta, a Democratic volunteer who falls in love with Kyle Franklin (Brian White), who is her Republican counterpart.

mangaatha movie preview, mankatha movie preview, ajith mangaatha preview, actor ajith kumar, ajith starrer mankatha, director venkat prabhu, actress trisha krishnan, ajith kumar trisha

The moderate success of his last two movies made Ajith Kumar to be cautious about his 50th film. The actor, who had seen the fate of Vijay's 50th film Sura, went on to hear many stories and among those subjects, he showed interest towards Gautham Menon's proposed project, which was titled Thuppariyum Anand. Later, all of a sudden, the actor shelved the movie for the reasons best known to him and signed Venkat Prabhu's project Mangaatha.

Mangaatha was started with out much-hype in August 2010 without finalizing the other lead cast. Initial reports claimed that the makers of the film signed Neetu Chandra to play the love interest of Ajith Kumar in the film but later it was revealed that Trisha Krishnan was pairing up in the movie. Telugu actor Nagarjuna was roped in to play the second fiddle but he opted out later citing date issues. Then, Arjun Sarja replaced him and other cast was finalized.

Story:
Ajith Kumar starrer Mangaatha is not all about betting during cricket matches but it explores all forms of gambling. As the actor himself claimed before, there are five characters in the film, all bad men and he is the worst among them. Rest other gang members of the actor are played by Vaibhav, Premji Amaren, Mahat Raghavendra and Ashwin Kakumanu. While, Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead character, Arjun Sarja plays the role of a CBI officer. It is said that the director took inspiration by Steven Soderbergh's crime thriller 'Ocean Eleven' but the makers of the film have denied the reports.

Music:
The single track of Mangaatha titled 'vilaiyaadu mangaatha...' was released on 20 May 2011, to create buzz through this new marketing strategy. As expected, it was well received by the audience. However, the release of the complete album, which was postponed for several times, hit the stands on August 10. The Sony Music product has eight tracks and those songs have added fuel to the expectations of Thala's fans.
Venkat Prabhu directorial Mangaatha is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri. It has Sakthi Saravanan's cinematography and Praveen KL-NB Srikanth's editing. The distribution rights of the film went through several hands before landing in the safe hands of Radhika Sarath Kumar's Radaan Media Works. Sun Pictures has acquired the satellite rights of the Tamil movie, which is hitting the screens on August 31.
