Series Summary:

Actress Kareena Kapoor has reportedly chosen actor Aamir Khan over Shahrukh Khan. According to reports, Babo is in an awkward situation that the date of Toronto premiere of Ra.One is clashing with the shooting schedule of Aamir's Dhuaan. So the Bollywood star is said to have decided to give a miss to the special screening of Ra.One.

Talking to the Mid Day, a source has defended Kareena Kapoor's decision of choosing Mr Perfectionist Aamir over Shahrukh Khan. The source claims that Babo has to take some special training for an underwater sequence in the film Dhuan and she needs time for that too. So she is not going to attended the the premiere of Ra.One.

However, Kareena Kapoor is playing the female lead in the movie Ra.One and Shahrukh obviously wants her to be a part of all promotional activities of the film. The source adds that she is trying her best to attend the Dubai and London premieres because she does not want to miss the international premieres of her film.

Kareena Kapoor is facing problems with producers being reluctant to sign her for projects in 2012 since rumours of her marriage with Saif Ali Khan next year is doing the rounds.

While Kareena is not in a mood to talk about marriage since her boyfriend Saif is still mourning the death of his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, she fails to understand why her marriage should effect her career in Bollywood. Kareena, whose entire family has dedicated their life to Bollywood said that she will not give up acting even after her marriage and said that she will act till she lives.

Sujoy Ghosh apparently had to postpone the release of his film Kahani to January as the lead lady of the film Vidya Balan thinks that January is her lucky month as she was born in the month of January.

Stars are known to be finicky and superstitious about the release dates of their films. However, if what we have heard of is true, Vidya Balan has crossed all limits! If sources are to be believed, Sujoy Ghosh wanted to release Kahani this month during Durga Pooja since the film is set against the backdrop of Durga Pooja in Kolkata. Promoting the film Kahani during the festival would have been much simpler.

A source, speaking to an English daily revealed, “She has developed this superstition after No One Killed Jessica, which was released in January last year, did well”. Kahani, which has a female oriented plot is Vidya Balan's first solo lead.

Director David Dhawan's much-hyped Bollywood movie Rascals, which features Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn and Kangana Ranaut in the leads, has got warm reception from the viewers on the opening day. According to trade analysts, the laughathon had a heartening start at the Box Office on the auspicious day Dussehra.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film Rascals has opened with low response with its occupancy ranging from 60% to 70% in the morning shows and this start was due to the Dussehra festivities. But the film witnessed a considerable amount of improvement in the business with its occupancy raising to 75% to 80% in parts of East Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi/UP, Gujarat and CI territories at the end of the day.

However, the movie Rascals has received mixed reviews from the film critics as well as viewers. Since the film was released on a weekday, it was restricted to minimum number of theatres in India. Today, it will be released in a full-scale. As per the estimations of trade analysts, the movie is expected to gross Rs 32 cr to Rs 35 cr net range in the 4-day weekend.

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha might be seen romancing around Busan and Jeju Island in South Korea for their forthcoming film Kick. Sajid Nadiadwala has tied up with the Korean Tourism Board (KTB) to help promote the scenic beauty of the country in his upcoming Bollywood ventures.

Sajid Nadiadwala, who recently received an invite from the president of the Korean Tourism Organisation (KTO) to visit the country has signed the agreement to set scenes of his films in the country. Besides Kick, the producer is also working on an untitled romantic action flick starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha.
Nadiadwala’s team had visited Korea in September to discuss with the Korean ministers about the possibility of a tie-up between their company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) and the KTB.
Kick, directed by Shirish Kunder will be shot extensively in Seoul, Jeju Island, Busan and Gangwon Do too.
Salman Khan, who is expected to obtain training in martial arts for the film will be offered assistance from the Korean government as well.

According to director Anubhav Sinha, Big B has attended the recording for his voiceover for the movie Ra.One yesterday (6th October). Talking to the PTI, Anubhav Sinha said, "Amitji will be lending his voice for 'RA.One'. We are happy to have him. The voice over is for an important scene. The dubbing will take place today."

However, it should be recalled here that another Indian superstar Rajinikanth is making guest appearance in the movie Ra.One. Last weekend, the Tamil actor visited Mumbai to shoot for his character Chitti in the film. Besides him, two other stalwarts like Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra are also doing cameos in it.
