Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 69th birthday today. The Bollywood actor, who planned to celebrate it quietly with his family, met thousands of crazy fans, who gathered at his residence 'Jalsa' to wish him. Big B said that he prayed for the well being and happiness of his family and fans.

Amitabh Bachchan came out of his house in flowing off-white kurta-pyjama. Talking to reporters, the Superstar attributed his success to the blessings of his parents. "I pray for the well being and happiness of my family and fans," the PTI quotes Big B as saying.
However, many fans had been waiting outside the bungalow to get a glimpse of Amitabh Bachchan. Excited crowd of fans released balloons as he came out to meet them. They had even carried a placard hailing Bachchan as the world's most famous vegetarian. The actor greeted them warmly.

Actor Shahrukh Khan, who has roped in Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth for his latest movie Ra.One, has said that he wanted Rajini's blessings for the film. The Baadshah of Bollywood, who was recently in Chennai for its promotion, also said that he had created Rajini's role while writing the script, but he was waiting for him to get healthy.

Talking about the last minute shooting with Rajinikanth, Shahrukh Khan said, "We were just waiting for him to get healthy enough to do the scene. We have done the shooting a month ago and it's only the works on its effects are going on now. Honestly, I wanted Rajini sir's blessings. I am very clear that it is utilised.”
The King Khan added, “Rajini sir's scene was there when I wrote the script with my director and initially only, we had decided that Rajini sir should come out when superhero comes in front of him. I don't want to misutilise his scene. I am sure I will show it on Television when it is ready. I will try to make a small trailer of Rajini sir and you can enjoy watching him on screen.”
However, Rajinikanth has played the superhero Chitti in his Blockbuster movie Endhiran. Now, the Tamil actor is essaying the cameo of the same role in Shahrukh's much-anticipated film Ra.One, which is slated to release on 26th October.

Prateik Babbar, son of Raj Babbar and late Smita Patil has promised that he will unite the warring Khans – Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan. Prateik has even vowed to bridge the gap between both Salman and Shahrukh before the release of his film My Friend Pinto.

Prateik, who has grown up watching the films of both Salman and Shahrukh is apparently very pained to know that the two great Khans of Bollywood are not in talking terms and has come up with a plan to unite them before the release of his first solo-film My Friend Pinto, directed by Raghav Dar and produced jointly by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. Prateik is paired opposite Kalki Koechlin in the film.
Speaking to a tabloid, Prateik Babbar said, “I can't understand why they're not friends! They're both so comfortable with their stardom and not threatened by anyone else's success. They're wonderful human beings. I know them both and I love them equally. I want to bring them together because I see it as a futile war."
However, Prateik refuses to reveal his plan as he is superstitious. The actor, who debuted with Aamir Khan’s Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na says that on the premiere of his film My Friend Pinto, he hopes that both Salman and Shahrukh will do a dance with him - “one of peace and friendship,” said Prateik.
Prateik loves both SRK and Sallu and cannot stop talking about them. He said, “I grew up hero-worshipping both Salman and Shah Rukh. I identify with both of them. Like Salman, I am considered a star-kid. But like Shahrukh, I feel like an outsider in the film industry.”
Several stars and celebrities have tried to bring about a reconciliation between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, but in vain. Now, the young and bubbling Prateik Babbar is very confident of bringing the two Khans back again. He said, “What is their problem with one another? It's all very strange! I am going to get to the bottom of it. Imagine how wonderful it would be if they both become friends... I will manage it."
Well, let’s hope Prateik succeeds in his endeavour and let’s hope to see Shahrukh and Salman become the same old buddies they once were.

Peter stumbles upon a house fire in progress before the fire department arrives and is able to rescue a young woman. Season 12 premiered on September 20, 2011.Each season of The Biggest Loser starts with a weigh-in to determine the contestants' starting weights, which serve as the baseline for determining the overall winner. The contestants are grouped into teams of two, each wearing separate colored t-shirts. Depending on the season a team may work with a specific trainer or all trainers may work with all contestants. The trainers are responsible (in conjunction with medical personnel retained by the show) for designing comprehensive workout and nutrition plans and teaching them to the contestants. However, the contestants are individually responsible for implementing the principles taught. During an episode, various challenges and temptations (see below) are featured.
