Teams are progressively eliminated until three are left; at that point, the team that arrives first in the final leg is awarded a grand prize. Game Summary:
"The Amazing Race" is an adventure reality show hosted by Phil Keoghan that pits 10, 11, or 12 teams of 2 or 4 people against each other in a race around the world for approximately 40 days. In a leg, they go to destinations where they will complete a roadblock,a task where 1 person completes (Season 1-7) or 2 people (Season 8), a detour, where you have to decide between two tasks that are usually opposite of each other, and a miscellaneous task. After they complete all these tasks, they will be directed to go to a Pit stop where they will have a 24 hour rest period where they will be able to eat, drink, sleep, and mingle with other teams. The last team to check into the Pit Stop usually is eliminated, but sometimes there is a non-elimination leg in which no one is eliminated. After all teams are eliminated except for 3, these three race to the finish line where the winning team wins 1 million dollars.

Storyline:
The best of the reality series crop is back, with 12 teams of 2 players each racing around the world, trying not to be eliminated at a series of checkpoints in which the last team to arrive is booted from the show. CBS chooses teams with relationships containing at least some tension, especially when the situation involves intense pressure. This season includes such duos as two circus clowns, a gay married couple, a father and son, a recently engaged couple, married couples, and best friends.

Series Summary:

The movie Immortals is about Theseus, who is a mortal chosen by the Gods to fight against an endless army. Actor Henry Cavill is playing Theseus, while Luke Evans and Mickey Rourke appear as the young Zeus and King Hyperion respectively. The second trailer shows slow motion fighting, arrow flinging and golden winged ninja-like warriors and it is hard to make out who exactly is fighting whom. Immortals is directed by Tarsem Singh and Charley Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides have penned the script for it. Freida Pinto, Kellan Lutz, Isabel Lucas, Stephen Dorff, John Hurt and Robert Maillet are also in other supporting roles in the film, which is released on 11th November.

Storyline:
Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. Amassing a bloodthirsty army of soldiers disfigured by his own hand, Hyperion has scorched Greece in search of the legendary Epirus Bow, a weapon of unimaginable power forged in the heavens by Ares. Only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros since the dawn of time and thirst for revenge. In the king's hands, the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods. But ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man's conflict. They remain powerless to stop Hyperion...until a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) comes forth as their only hope. Secretly chosen by Zeus, Theseus must save his people from Hyperion and his hordes...

Or, is it much later, when the wealthy owner of the said house, now enlightened to how dreadful his live of buttoned-up privilege has been, moves to the sixth floor and falls wholeheartedly in with the impoverished troupe of misfits-by-design? I'm still not exactly sure, but I do know this - there's a lot to dislike about "Women on the 6th Floor", a disingenuous bit of fluff that thankfully isn't quite so toxic that it won't just blow away.In a wealthy home in 1962 France, the maid of twenty-five years has quit in a fury, causing Mr. Joubert (Fabrice Luchini) the plum-like man of the house, to realize that the help are people, too. From this point, he develops a fascination not just for his replacement maid - the young and attractive (but not too attractive) Spanish maid Maria (Natalia Verbeke) -but for the roughhewn lifestyle of the cadre of foreign housekeepers (mostly Spanish) who occupy the sixth floor. The sixth floor is a closed world of perpetual clogged toilet squalor and busy over-crowded hallways, but doggonit it, the people there are like family. They're alive!! Not at all like the flatlined dull life of miserable wealth led by Joubert and his strangely frumpy wife. (At one gag-inducing point, the lady of the house actually announces this realization in glassy eyed wonder.) Every day, Joubert must have his breakfast egg hard-boiled just perfectly. If the egg is properly prepared, it is the highlight of his day. We're all supposed to be thinking: Oh, how rigidly bland! How could anyone possibly go on living this way??

Storyline:
Paris, in the early 1960s. Jean-Louis Joubert is a serious but uptight stockbroker, married to Suzanne, a starchy class-conscious woman and father of two arrogant teenage boys, currently in a boarding school. The affluent man lives a steady yet boring life. At least until, due to fortuitous circumstances, Maria, the charming new maid at the service of Jean-Louis' family, makes him discover the servants' quarter on the sixth floor of the luxury building he owns and lives in. There live a crowd of lively Spanish maids who will help Jean-Louis to open to a new civilization and a new approach of life. In their company - and more precisely in the company of beautiful Maria - Jean-Louis will gradually become another man, a better man.

Movie Plot Summary:
Paris, 1960. Jean-Louis lives a bourgeois existence absorbed in his work, cohabitating peacefully with his neurotic socialite wife Suzanne while their children are away at boarding school. The couple's world is turned upside-down when they hire a Spanish maid Maria. Through Maria, Jean-Louis is introduced to an alternative reality just a few floors up on the building's sixth floor, the servants' quarters. He befriends a group of sassy Spanish maids, refugees of the Franco regime, who teach him there's more to life than stocks and bonds. The women's influence on the house brings change... muy rapido!
