The actress, who's most high-profile role to date was in this year's A Nightmare On Elm Street remake, beat competition from A-list actresses such as Natalie Portman, Ellen Page and Anne Hathaway for the much coveted role. Tattooed, pierced and no-nonsense, Lisbeth Salander is the star of all three books in the Millenium Trilogy, the best-selling series written by the late Stieg Larsson.
She is an expert hacker who lends her considerable skills and intelligence to journalist Mikael Blomkvist as he investigates a decades old disappearance.
One of the strongest and most complex female characters in recent creation, the race to play her in the English language remake of the hit Swedish adaptation has inspired much rumor of late. With the prize being a starring role in a potential box-office smashing, awards baiting trilogy, it's easy to see why nearly every actress in Hollywood had been vying for the part.

Series Storyline:

Storyline:

Internet giant, Google has entered the online digital music market with the launch of its ‘Google Music’ service.
The new service was unveiled at a Google event in Los Angeles. It allows users to store and stream as many as 20,000 songs online and also access the stored songs on various devices.

The company has entered into partnerships with 1,000 record labels, including Vivendi SA's Universal Music Group to offer more than 13 million songs to ties users. Some of the songs will be offered for free while others will cost 99 cents to $1.29.
The new service will directly compete with Apple’s iTunes store, which was launched in 2003. The entry of Google in the segment will intensify the competition between the two firms that are already fighting in different areas including smartphones and online marketing.
Google will also face competition for the new service from Amazon. com, which offers its music-download and storage service and with Spotify, which partners Facebook. Google has expanded into various fields including music, television and movies to bolster sales of devices running its Android mobile software. It has also revealed a new social platform called, Google Plus to compete with Facebook, which is approaching the one billion user mark.

On Thursday evening, the song notched up to 3,020,014 hits on YouTube, and suprisingly the count spiralled to 4,052,189 by Friday noon. Amitabh Bachchan is going gaga over the foot-tapping music and says he just can't get enough of the song sung by Tamil star Dhanush for his film "3", which is being directed by his wife Aishwarya, the daughter of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth.
