Having started off her career as a shy and demure lass, playing girl-next-door roles, Sonam Kapoor has undergone a complete transformation for her upcoming film Players, by going blunt and showing her middle finger.

Speaking about showing her middle finger in her upcoming film Players, Sonam Kapoor told PTI, “I don't believe in censorship so whether they like it or not, I really don't care about it. I just want people to come and see my film. Showing a middle finger is a part of today's youth.”
Sonam Kapoor added, “I think it is part of our language...it is part of your lingo. We abuse when we have a normal conversation with our friends. I don't believe anything should be censored it is crazy, especially when it comes to art, films...especially when you live in India where freedom of speech and expression is our basic right.”
To clear her point, Sonam Kapoor said that worse things are available on the internet. We must hence apply censorship on them too.
Initially, the Censor board had given a green signal to the act, but later on, they decided to censor it.
"I think it is double standards and being hypocritical. Its like oh my god she did this. I am just saying it is a normal thing, when I started doing it I never thought of it. When guys would bother me while I was in college, I used to flip my finger. I think it is like a normal lingo,” the 26-year-old said.
Sonam plays an outspoken, blunt hacker the in Abbas-Mustan action-thriller, a remake of Hollywood film, The Italian Job. The film also stars, Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Omi Vaidya, releases on January 6, 2012.

Actress Priyanka Chopra is reprising the role of Roma in the upcoming movie Don 2, which is releasing in theatres this weekend, and she can not stop gushing on her love-hate relationship with her co-star Shahrukh Khan. The Bollywood star says that even though her mission is to catch Shahrukh Khan in the film, there is still something which attracts her towards the baddie.

The first installment of the Farhan Akhtar-directed film Don, which released five years ago, showed Priyanka falling in love with Shahrukh Khan. Though she realised that he wasn't really what he seemed, tables have pretty much turned for the lady, who is now on a mission to destroy Don in the second installment.

"When it comes to Don, there is this really interesting relationship between Roma and him. Her life's mission is to catch him. Having said that, there is still something strange that draws her towards him. She is angry with him for what she has done to her but it is tough for her to hate him," Priyanka Chopra told PTI.

The 29-year-old actress says that the combination of Shahrukh's charisma and her revengeful attitude gives birth to a love-hate relationship between the two. "It is this very combination that makes their relationship exceptionally interesting. There is a love hate relationship between the two of us. While I am forever angry, he is always oh-so-charming," she said.

Mumbai, Dec 20 - Pakistani actress Veena Malik, new drama queen in the making, has reacted to reports of her 'missing act' as dramatically as possible. She swears to inform the whole world before going for her next break.

"I swear, next time if I go to sleep, I will inform the entire world. I will not tell where I am sleeping, but I will inform everyone that I am going to sleep," said Veena at a press conference held to clear her act.
Veena, who reportedly went missing since Friday morning, denies it was a publicity stunt to promote her forthcoming reality show - "Veena Ka Vivah".
"If someone considers this as a publicity stunt, I cannot stop them. Previously, the FHM controversy took place. They doctored my picture and you people called it a publicity stunt... This time I went to a hotel, checked in and slept. I don't think anyone has so much audacity to have two publicity stunts in 15 days," said Veena, who has become controversy's favourite child.
She made headlines when she openly slammed her then-boyfriend, Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif, for being involved in match-fixing.
It kind of paved her way into the Indian entertainment industry -- she entered the fourth season of reality "Bigg Boss". On the show, she created a furore for closeness with her fellow inmate, Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel.

Director Maneesh Sharma has rocked the movie goers with young stars like Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the movie Band Baaja Baaraat. The director is now back with the same stars with yet another enthusiastic movie. His latest directorial venture Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl is a perfect package of entertainer values. Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl is a romantic comedy film. Ranveer-Anushka's amazing chemistry is the major attraction in it. Salim and Sulaiman's foot-tapping music, interesting storyline, beautiful locations, Habib Faisal's witty one-liners, Aseem Mishra's camera work are the other highlights of the film. But there were lot of expectations from Maneesh Sharma, which he seems to have failed to meet. Yash Raj's latest movie revolves around charming conman named Ricky Bahl, who cons girls for living, but finally meets his match. The beginning of the film is very interesting and it turns predictable as it reaches the end of the first half. The film turns sluggish in the post-interval portions. But the director manages to hold the attention of the viewers in the climax.
