New Delhi, Jan 14 - Actress Shilpa Shetty's debut production project "Dishkiyaaoon", went on floors Saturday, and she seems to be loving the role of a producer.
The 36-year-old star, who is currently pregnant, launched her movie production house, Essential Sports and Media Pvt. Ltd., last year with businessman husband Raj Kundra."Happy Makar Sankranti tweetos... Its an auspicious day so we did the first mahurat shot of 'Dishkiyaaoon' today," Shilpa posted on her Twitter page.

"Our first home production, need all your best wishes and prayers, its my first day 'behind' the camera," she added.The movie reportedly features Harman Baweja in a key role. (IANS)

Incredible illusions, mind-bending magic and classic tricks with a contemporary twist, performed by some of the world's best magicians. "The Magicians" is a reality series which sees different magicians being paired up with celebrities. Each week the different pairs have to compete over three rounds performing classic tricks with contemporary twists. The studio audience decides who should win each week. The team that comes last have to take part in a dangerous forfeit that no one will want to tackle. The series was hosted by Lenny Henry in Season 1, and Darren McMullen in Season 2.

London, Jan 14 : Lindsay Lohan is said to be concerned about her model sister Ali’s plummeting weight over recent months.Former supermodel Janice Dickinson claims Lindsay, 25, expressed her fears to her recently when she bumped into Lohan at a Los Angeles bar.According to Star magazine, 56-year-old Dickinson said that Lohan told her Ali’s modeling agents were planning to send the 18-year-old overseas for work - and were asking her to lose even more weight.“Lindsay is horrified,” the Daily Mail quoted Dickinson as telling.“She doesn’t want Ali going away, but worse still, she doesn’t want her to lose more weight.“Lindsay was complaining that her sister is being sent off to Asia by her modeling agent.“She asked me my opinion and I said, “If this agency can’t get Ali some work in this country, what good are they as an American agent? ”

Mumbai, Jan 14 - Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu will make a good wife, feels her "Jodi Breakers" co-star R. Madhavan."Whoever she will marry, she will keep him very happy," Madhavan told reporters here.The 33-year-old actress dated model-turned-actor John Abraham for eight years before calling it quits last year.Ever since, Bipasha has been linked to actors like Rana Daggubati, Shahid Kapoor and her "Singularity" co-star Josh Hartnett.Madhavan is impressed with the lady."I feel Bipasha is a wonderful person. I don't think I have ever worked with such a wonderful co-star till date," he said.Romantic comedy "Jodi Breakers", directed by Ashwini Chaudhary, is a story of two individuals who break others' relationships but end up falling in love with each other.

Islamabad, Jan 14 : Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that is working to fulfill the cherished wishes of terminally ill children, has managed to meet the innocent wishes of three ailing children and Bollywood star Salman Khan.Hubaiba Rizwan, Muhammad Shehroz, and Muhammad Anas, all of whom suffering from life threatening illnesses, met Khan in a meeting was arranged in collaboration with Make-A-Wish India, the Daily Times quoted a statement issued by the foundation, as saying.According to the statement, a special ceremony was organised in Mumbai for the event.The children presented Khan with a letter signed by other ailing children saying, ``Because of our illness, we cannot travel to meet him, why don't you come to Pakistan to meet us?''

Khan informed the Founding President of Make-A-Wish Pakistan Ishtiaq Baig that he had good memories of Pakistan where he spent a day with his brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan at Hawks Bay and promised that he would soon visit Pakistan to meet other Make-A-Wish children. (ANI)
