Series Summary:
From the creator of the hit series "Bones" comes "The Finder", a quirky, one-hour procedural centering on a remarkable man with an eccentric personality and a unique gift to help others recover what they've lost. Iraq war veteran Walter Sherman (Geoff Stults) gained a reputation in his army days as being the go-to guy for tracking down insurgents and deserters and finding improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Unfortunately one IED found Walter before he could find it, resulting in severe brain damage with a lasting and unexpected effect. Walter transformed from someone skilled at the standard recovery of people and things in wartime scenarios to someone - something - much more extraordinary: a Finder. Walter left the military, but his reputation as a discreet professional able to unearth anything and anyone passed on to generals, politicians and other powerful figures.

Episode Summary:
Joe and Annie, a once-happily married couple, ate at The Bella Plata restaurant every year on their anniversary, until mob boss Fico Vasquez closed it down. Now, to save his marriage, Joe asks Walter to help him find the meal over which he and his wife first fell in love. To do that, Walter must track down the restaurant's chef, whom the mob also is looking for. Meanwhile, Willa gets thrown back in jail after getting into a fight with a girl who's impersonating her.

Once a lawyer at her family's esteemed San Francisco firm, Kate's frustration with the legal system led her to a new career as a mediator. Thanks to her innate understanding of human nature, thorough legal knowledge, and wry sense of humor, Kate is a natural when it comes to dispute resolution. Except, it seems, when it comes to conflicts in her own life. Since her father's sudden death, Kate's relationship with her new boss-her "wicked" stepmother Lauren (Virginia Williams)-has grown ever more complicated, and the situation with her soon-to-be-ex-husband Justin (Michael Trucco), a San Francisco ADA, is no less confusing. With help from her resourceful assistant Leonardo (Baron Vaughn), Kate's doing her best to focus on work and avoid her own problems. But with new personal challenges and tough, unconventional cases suddenly on her docket, this newly-minted mediator's skills are about to be put to the test.

During the revived negotiation that started in Season 2, James Martin from The Dalles, OR phones Jim Koch, co-founder of Samuel Adams beer, for advice on the Sharks' latest offer to invest in Copa Di Vino, a plastic wine-in-a-cup business. Also, a versatile inventor from San Antonio, TX must prove to the Sharks the waste products created by his 100-foot tall generator can be transformed into gold; a housewife from Kokomo, IN wants the Sharks' help to grow her handcrafted cookie company into a household name; and a former medical student from Penfield, NY makes T-shirts where a motivational message appears when activated by sweat.
