Impact Wrestling is filmed at the Impact Wrestling Zone (Soundstage 21 at the Universal Studios Florida theme park of Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida) where admission is free. Tapings of the show take place on Monday and Tuesday night and are aired on its 9pm Thursday time slot. The show's current opening theme is called: "Sinister Rise Above" by Dale Oliver. TNA was left with no television deal and, therefore, had no means of promoting their monthly pay-per-views (although Impact! did continue to air on certain regional networks in place of TNA Xplosion). On July 1, TNA began offering new episodes through their website, first using BitTorrent downloads, then by streaming through RealPlayer. To save on production costs, four hours of the show were recorded in a day and made available throughout the subsequent month.At the same time, TNA began seeking a more profitable television outlet, finally negotiated a Saturday night timeslot with Spike TV, now known simply as Spike, and started airing Impact! on October 1, 2005. Two episodes were taped every other Tuesday, airing them on the subsequent Saturday. TNA's syndication contracts for the show on local TV channels, from after the FSN contract, were converted to contracts for their syndicated show, TNA Xplosion.....

But with top salesman Little Gary Patel back in jail, the staff's position as 'Kings of the High Street' may be in jeopardy for the first time.Manager Lance has a secret weapon in the form of new recruit and graduate Christopher. But Lance’s young protégée looks more damp squib than battle-ready expert. It’s up to Ashley, Jerwayne and Janine - the elite Sales Professionals – to knock this eager-to-please, bag of nerves into shape. Together it’s their job to make sure that every mug punter within five square miles gets locked down to the tightest and most expensive mobile phone contract known to mankind.

The bottom line with this business is that in the end, it all comes back to how you can perform in the ring. TNA is wisely signing younger, smaller wrestlers and featuring a different type of in ring style than what WWE is doing. At the same time, they are not trying to compete with WWE, which is extremely smart. TNA is akin to what ECW was in the 90s, not in terms of style, but in terms of its approach to its place in the world. What I mean by that is that even though TNA has people like Jeff Jarrett, Raven, Rhino among other WWE or WCW guys, they realize that they cannot be going head to head with WWE. I certainly enjoy watching TNA though for the action and its unique in ring content.
